Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Florida but also licensed in Maryland. I received my Masters degree from Barry University and have been practicing for 8 years. I have a trauma-informed background and approach in my practice. I help adults struggling with anxiety, depression, and PTSD to have a better quality of life by providing a safe space to do the work in order for my clients to have a better quality of life.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
I am a trauma-informed therapist having worked with individuals for the past 8 years, by developing a good frame-work to identify, process and work at addressing the underlying factors leading to symptoms of anxiety and depression. Might this be from past-trauma or current life transitions.
I love working with individuals who are in search of a safe space to process what has them stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, or depressed. Sometimes even life transitions can cause change in mood and behavior and providing this space is the first step to doing the work.
With this approach I will be providing my client with a safe space to explore. By meeting my client where they are at is the most effective way to drive a session. It is important to check-in and process what is currently heavy on your mind in order to then move on the other things that may need processing when it feels time to do so.
