With over 17 years of experience in social services and 7 years as a practicing therapist, I have developed a deep appreciation for the power of connection, the courage of my clients, and the transformative nature of safe, consistent therapeutic work. My motivation to work in mental health stems from witnessing, time and again, the profound change that occurs when individuals are truly seen, heard, and supported in a space where they feel emotionally safe.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I provide a safe, supportive environment where clients can do the challenging but rewarding work of growth. Using a strengths-based, client-centered approach, I offer tailored, practical tools that empower clients to manage emotions, navigate challenges, and build lasting resilience—one purposeful step at a time. If starting therapy feels overwhelming. You don’t have to do it alone. Together, we’ll create a space where you feel safe, respected, and supported as you work toward your goals. If you’re ready to begin building the inner strength and clarity you deserve, I invite you to reach out and take the first step today.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I’ve come to understand that my greatest strength lies in creating that safe, therapeutic holding environment—a place where clients can do the hard work of healing and growth. I often liken psychological skills to physical fitness: sometimes, we’re simply out of shape. With the right tools, support, and consistent practice, inner strength can be built. In each session, my clients are offered specific, actionable strategies—never general advice—tailored to their unique needs and goals. My approach is both strengths-based and client-centered, meeting each individual exactly where they are. I work collaboratively and at a pace that respects the client’s readiness, while also offering gentle challenges when appropriate. Therapy with me is not passive—it is purposeful, compassionate, and focused on empowerment. My goal is that every session provides a tangible takeaway—a “gift” clients can carry with them as they navigate their personal journeys.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client feels “out of shape” emotionally—perhaps struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or life transitions. They want a safe space where they can be seen, heard, and understood. They’re looking for specific tools, not vague advice, and are ready to commit to consistent, purposeful work. Their goal is to build emotional strength, resilience, and a sense of empowerment so they can live with greater clarity, balance, and self-confidence.

I have opened up to Heather and shared experiences that I never have before. I think I have done this because of the ease at which our conversation flows. There is no pressure to find the solution right away to my internal issues. I like the pace and self reflection that is coming out of our sessions. Heather is a special person and someone that I look forward to our sessions not only as a life coach but as a confidant. I feel that I can find a path to healing which makes me happier daily.

I came in focused on variables that I can’t control and she guided me to seeing what I can. That change of focus has allowed me to work on myself and I finally feel like I deserve to do so. She is a truly incredible professional and provider to have in your corner.
