I love what I do.
Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Illinois. I received my Masters from Clark-Atlanta University and have been practicing for 4 years. I help young adults and adults manage anxiety and depression by teaching coping skills and encouraging them to use them throughout their daily lives to improve their symptoms. I also specialize in the treatment of OCD symptoms using ERP. I love helping teenagers navigate life's hurdles and helping families facilitate a success story for their child.
My name is Alahya Clayborn, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), and I specialize in systemic and strategic family therapy models. Hi!
I am Sam and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Board Certified Art Therapist. I believe that every individual is capable of change. I believe building rapport and being met with compassion is essential to creating a healing environment to empower you to be the best you. With my support, we will fill your toolbox full of skills to reach your full potential, overcome obstacles, and live the life that you want to live!
I use evidence-based practices with my clients which include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (skills-based). I have also been trained in Exposure and Response Prevention.
I have spent most of my post-graduate experience working with adolescents and adults with depression, anxiety, and OCD. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, constantly overthinking, or emotionally drained—you’re not alone. I help individuals who are struggling with anxiety, burnout, self-doubt, and relationship stress learn how to feel more in control and confident in their daily lives.
Many of my clients are high-functioning but feel stuck in patterns of overthinking, people-pleasing, or emotional exhaustion. They’re used to carrying everything on their own and don’t always have the tools to slow their thoughts or regulate their emotions.
In our work together, we focus on what’s actually keeping you stuck—and more importantly, how to change it. You’ll learn practical skills to manage anxiety, quiet overthinking, set healthy boundaries, and respond differently in situations that usually overwhelm you.

I began my calling in mental health following my retirement from a 35 year career in education. I am a published author and I hold a master’s degree in American Studies, and I have earned the distinguished National Board Certification in English Education. All these experiences have widened my understanding and make it easier to relate to a variety of people and cultures. It also makes it easy for me to connect with you.

My heart is to support you wherever you are on your journey, ease your worries about the future, and give you practical tools to heal.
Lets awaken a new you! Its time to make yourself a priority. I understand the process that many go through to find a better way to live. I know how hard it can be thinking that there’s no way out of the “mess.” I have found my love and passion for helping others find a way out. There are many different paths to get back in control, and I can help you find the path that works for you!
I am Kiera Cordiano, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. I have been working in mental health for 15 years. I have experience working with many different areas of concern, but areas of focus include helping men and women that struggle with anxiety, depression, self esteem, self worth, codependency, substance use, relationship issues, motherhood, and professional growth and development. I cant wait to help you achieve your goals!
I am passionate about trauma and helping others who have suffered from trauma in the past. The impact of trauma is largely unrecognized and can last a lifetime. Additionally, symptoms of trauma masquerade as many other diagnoses. For example, thousands of children are diagnosed each year with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, when their symptoms are actually due to trauma. Trauma disguises itself as anger management issues, impulsivity, depression, anxiety, phobias, panic attacks ... the list goes on and on. For me, treating trauma and helping others overcome its devastating effects is intensely rewarding.

An initial conversation can help determine whether working together feels like the right fit, provide a sense of what the process might look like, and address any questions you may have. I would welcome the opportunity to connect.
Hey there! I'm Shirley.
We all struggle sometimes. You may need to make a change or a difficult decision. You may feel unsure of how to solve a problem. While family and friends may want to help, they often are unequipped to be truly helpful. Talking with someone unbiased and nonjudgmental can be most helpful when you feel lost or face barriers to achieving your hopes and dreams.
I am a compassionate and knowledgeable licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut. I have 10+ years of diverse experience including trauma, substance abuse treatment, and domestic violence counseling and advocacy. I approach each client with an open mind and an open heart. I believe each person is the “expert” on themselves and it is my job to help them find the tools that will work for them.
My journey to counseling has been a long and winding road, going back to school at the age of 50 after a successful culinary career. I graduated top of my class with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Bridgeport. In addition to a comprehensive education, I bring a wealth of life experience to the therapy room. I have been through marriage, divorce, parenting challenges, personal loss, and so much more. I love helping my clients find their passion and direction. I am humbled to walk with them as they discover their life path. I look forward to working with you as you begin your own journey.

Meet Caprice Smith, LCSW
Caprice Smith is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of Essence & Grace Development Center, LLC. A native of St. Petersburg, Florida, she has over seven years of experience helping adolescents, young adults, and adults navigate life's challenges with compassion, clinical excellence, and faith.
Her passion for mental health was born from growing up in a community where emotional struggles were often overlooked and seeking therapy was uncommon. Those experiences, combined with her Christian faith, inspired her to create a practice where individuals can find hope, healing, and practical tools to overcome life's difficulties.
Caprice believes that true healing addresses the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life transitions using evidence-based therapies while thoughtfully integrating biblical principles into the counseling process for clients who desire faith-based care.
Through Essence & Grace Development Center, her mission is to create a safe and welcoming environment where clients, especially minorities and people of color, feel seen, heard, and valued. She is committed to helping individuals develop emotional resilience, strengthen healthy relationships, discover their God-given identity, and become the healthiest version of themselves.
Whether clients are seeking emotional healing, spiritual growth, or practical coping strategies, Caprice considers it a privilege to walk alongside them on their journey toward lasting hope, healing, and transformation.
