Going through a change can be very tough and hard to navigate. Whether the changes are good or difficult, they can still be hard to work through. I can help you find a balance with the changes occurring in your life and the peace you hope to feel. Together we can work as a team to locate solutions to find acceptance and work out a plan to help you move forward in your life in a way that brings fulfillment. I use a whole self-approach, addressing the needs of your mind, body and spirit. Although I can help you work through most changes you might be experiencing, I have many year's experience working with individuals in the Hospice setting, helping patients and survivors find peace during the end of life with dignity. These experiences have been strengthened by my personal journey with breast cancer, which has given me a perspective on the other side. I hope I can use my 30 plus years' experience as a therapist and my personal experience as a cancer survivor to help you learn how to find happiness and peace in your life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first visit will be us getting to know each other. We will discuss your history and what you hope to achieve through therapy.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

You can't get through this life without experiencing changes. Sometimes, changes can cause us to feel uncomfortable in our own skin and that can make us feel stuck and unable to move around or through the changes. Working with individuals who are going through or getting ready to go through a difficult journey, is one of my strengths, particularly, with acute, chronic, or terminal illnesses, such as cancer.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My practice focuses on individuals having trouble dealing with grief and loss, adjustment to acute, chronic, or terminal illnesses, adjustment to life changes, aging concerns, compassion fatigue and caregiver stress.

Erin is a very personable person. I really feel that she cares about me and what I face in my life. I'm not just another patient to her. She is a good listener. She takes things seriously and I never feel like what I share is not important. or that "I shouldn't feel that way". She shares her own experiences which is comforting to me. Helps me feel like I'm not alone in my efforts to make sense of life.

I am so happy I chose to enter into grief therapy with Erin. She has great compassion and she made me feel that the losses and circumstances I am going through are normal and manageable. I booked a second session immediately. I am thankful I found a “wise soul” to help me through my grief journey.
