About me

Hi there, I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in Florida with over 13 years of experience supporting women, children, and families. I earned my Master’s degree from Nova Southeastern University and have dedicated my career to helping clients move through life’s emotional, mental, and relational challenges with greater clarity and resilience. My passion lies in supporting women who feel stretched thin by the pressures of motherhood, career demands, and the invisible load of trying to hold everything together. I help them slow down, reconnect with themselves, and navigate the stress, trauma, or burnout that’s been quietly building beneath the surface. In addition to my work with women, I specialize in helping children and families heal from emotional disconnection, behavioral struggles, and communication breakdowns. I guide parents with practical, trauma-informed strategies to manage challenging behaviors while strengthening emotional bonds and restoring peace in the home.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

From the moment you step into your therapeutic journey with me, my goal is to create a “home away from home” — a space where you can exhale, be fully yourself, and feel seen without judgment or pressure. In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other. I’ll invite you to share what’s bringing you to therapy at your own pace, and we’ll explore what support might look like for you moving forward. There’s no pressure to have all the answers — this time is about building trust, understanding your story, and setting the foundation for work that feels safe, collaborative, and meaningful. You can expect to leave feeling a bit lighter, more grounded, and with a clearer sense of what to expect as we move forward together. My approach is always tailored to your needs — whether you’re navigating stress, trauma, emotional overwhelm, or relational challenges, we’ll co-create a path that supports your growth and healing.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

With over a decade of experience working with children and families, I’ve developed a strong ability to cut through the noise and get to the heart of what’s really going on. My clients often tell me they feel an immediate sense of comfort and trust—because I show up as my full, authentic self. I’m not the nod-and-smile type of therapist. I’m present, engaged, and not afraid to gently (but directly) name the patterns that are keeping you stuck. My approach combines clinical insight with genuine human connection. I work quickly to build rapport, which allows clients—kids and adults alike—to open up, feel understood, and start doing the real work. If you’re looking for someone who will keep it real with you, help you feel seen, and support meaningful change without fluff or judgment, you’ve found the right place.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I specialize in supporting high-achieving women who feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or disconnected from themselves under the weight of daily life. Whether they’re juggling work, caregiving, relationships, or the pressure to “keep it all together,” many come to me feeling stuck in survival mode despite looking successful from the outside. In addition to my work with women, I also help children who are navigating emotional and behavioral challenges—often a reflection of the stress, pressure, or trauma that exists in their environment. I partner with parents to better understand their child’s needs, decode behaviors, and create a more connected, regulated family dynamic. My goal is to help both women and their children untangle the emotional load they carry—whether it's unresolved trauma, burnout, anxiety, or behavioral disruptions. Together, we work toward building resilience, emotional literacy, and self-trust, so both generations can thrive with greater ease, intention, and connection.

My treatment methods

Trauma Informed Care

I approach this treatment method through a trauma-informed lens, which means I prioritize safety, collaboration, and client empowerment every step of the way.

Family Therapy

For the last decade, part of my focus has been on Family Therapy, where I work tirelessly with families to rebuild connections and enhance their communication abilities.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I make it a priority for my clients to feel ownership of their therapeutic journey. This approach involves presenting my authentic self and establishing a nonjudgmental environment for them. Additionally, I concentrate on tailoring the space to meet my clients' requirements and delivering customized treatment strategies.

Trauma-Focused CBT

Throughout my career, I have primarily worked with individuals who have faced trauma, and trauma-focused CBT has been a consistently effective approach that I have utilized. It's usually utilized with children and adolescents and focuses on unhelpful thinking patterns and challenging guilt and fear.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I utilize this form of treatment to assist my clients in reaching immediate goals especially when it comes treating issues like anxiety and self esteem.
