Starting therapy is a BIG STEP! It's completely normal to feel nervous or unsure. In our first session, I hope to provide a welcoming, safe, and judgment-free space where you can feel comfortable and supported. We'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
As a therapist, my strengths are the years of experience I have working with many different populations. I offer a warm, supportive space where clients feel safe to open up and be themselves. My approach blends compassion with structure, providing a clear, personalized roadmap for healing. I specialize in working with survivors of domestic violence, grief, and trauma, helping them unpack emotional burdens, learn healthy coping skills, and rebuild their sense of self. I meet clients where they are, honoring their pace while providing practical tools and strategies that lead to real, lasting change. My goal is for clients to leave each session feeling heard, supported, and more confident in their ability to navigate life’s challenges.
I work best with clients who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure where to start, and who are ready for a clear, compassionate roadmap to help them unpack emotional burdens, build coping skills, and move toward peace and personal growth. I have a heart for working with individuals who have experienced domestic violence, grief, or trauma and are ready to take meaningful steps toward healing. My clients often come to me seeking a safe, supportive space where they can process their experiences, better understand their emotions, and reconnect with their sense of self. Together, we focus on practical tools, emotional support, and a pace that feels right for them—so they can move forward feeling stronger, more confident, and more in control of their lives.

I was really nervous & I have a speech disability (stutter) so I know I probably sounded a little crazy. Haha, but I really hope to continue sessions with Ms. Wiggins & fully let myself open up to her.

She was compassionate and very caring. She was easy to talk to and very supportive. She genuinely wanted to seek solutions to my problems. She made me feel that she truly cared.
