I’m Joshua Robinson, a licensed therapist dedicated to helping children and adults navigate the complexities of anxiety, depression, life transition, and family challenges. I take a holistic approach to therapy, integrating evidence-based techniques to support your journey toward healing and self-discovery.
I work with individuals who feel trapped by past experiences, struggling to set boundaries, or seeking clarity in their relationships. Whether you’re dealing with childhood wounds, toxic family dynamics, or the emotional toll of breaking free from unhealthy patterns, I provide a compassionate, structured space to help you process, heal, and move forward.
Hi, I'm Sara. I specialize in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, perinatal mood disorders, and survivors of psychological, emotional, verbal, or physical abuse and/or domestic violence.
I work with individuals who feel stuck, lonely, or overwhelmed, even when they are doing their best to cope. Many are exhausted from carrying the emotional weight of their relationships while struggling with self-doubt, heavy expectations, or the effects of emotional, psychological, or physical abuse. I also support women and couples navigating infertility, pregnancy loss, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.
I offer a warm, trauma-informed, culturally affirming space to slow down and feel understood. My work supports immigrants, second-generation individuals, BIPOC, and others navigating emotional pain, faith, family expectations, or relationship strain. Therapy is paced with care, helping you release self-blame, build compassion, and feel safer within yourself.
I’m Dr. Terry Matz, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over two decades of experience serving military Veterans, active-duty service members, and their families. As both a former Army Behavioral Health Officer and seasoned civilian therapist, I specialize in treating trauma, PTSD, depression, and life transitions using evidence-based therapies like CBT and supportive approaches. I aim to provide a compassionate, culturally competent space where healing, growth, and resilience are possible.
I have lived a long and colorful life. Like everyone else, I've made good and bad choices and learned from each. I have 22+ years experience in the mental health and substance abuse treatment field. I DO NOT JUDGE, AT ALL, PERIOD. I can be both blunt and gentle as appropriate. My role is to offer another perspective, a way to see life more fully and function better, no more, no less. I don't pretend to have all the answers but only one slice of wisdom. I just share what can help someone. Some people are not yet ready to be helped. Yet for those who are feeling lost on life's journey and are willing to listen and learn, I'm here to assist. My life work can be summed up in three words, "offering people hope. "
"The wound is where the light enters." - Jeladdin Rumi
"A coward dies a thousand deaths, a brave man only once." Martin Luther King Jr.
"Wouldn't take nothin' for my journey now." - Maya Angelou
"The past is gone, and there is left only a blessing." - Kahlil Gibran
"Be true to yourself, and you will be false to no one else." - William Shakespeare
"How very lucky are we, for just a moment to be, part of life's eternal rhyme." Charlotte's Web, movie
"Not all who wander are lost." J.R.R. Tolkien
My name is Chiwoo. I enjoy working with individuals who struggle with overthinking, perfectionism, and people-pleasing. As a recovering people-pleaser myself, I understand the challenge of being your authentic self while trying to meet other people's expectations. In therapy, I combine evidence-based approaches with my own healing journey to help you feel less alone, build self-trust, and live with more confidence.

I have been a licensed counselor for more than twenty years and have helped clients of all ages, backgrounds, and circumstances. I have an eclectic and nonjudgmental approach and my goal is to unconditionally support you throughout this process. You are not here by mistake. There is no better time to begin taking steps to improve your life situation.
I am licensed in South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida and my counseling practice is entirely online (video and phone). My hours are Monday through Friday, with first appointments starting at 9 AM and last appointments at 5 PM. I use the first session to get to know you better, and from there we can address your issues together.
I always knew that I wanted to be a helping professional. As part of an assignment, while taking a counseling course designed to assist offenders with substance abuse problems, I had to write in five words or less what I wanted people to remember about me. My words were “helped people live better lives.”
I have over 30 years of experience working with clients who live with psychiatric and substance use disorders. I started my "helping" career working for the Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC). After observing the effects of early childhood trauma on many of the offenders that I supervised, I decided to end my 21-year career with GDC and pursue an education in counseling. I have never regretted this decision! For the last 6 years I have provided psychotherapy for individuals and groups.
I love doing what I believe I have been called to do and my life's work remains guided by those five simple words in my title. I look forward to helping you learn to live a better life!

In my counseling practice, I embrace an eclectic approach, drawing flexibly from a range of evidence-based therapies to best serve each unique individual. No two people are alike, so I integrate elements of cognitive-behavioral therapy, emotionally focused therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and solution-focused therapy—tailoring the process to align with my clients’ specific needs, strengths, and goals.
My style is gently directive: I offer clear guidance and structure while inviting clients to explore and uncover the profound wisdom, resilience, and worth—the true “gold”—that resides within their own hearts. Often, this inner treasure lies buried beneath the wounds and pain carried from childhood. Together, we engage in the courageous, transformative work of healing those early hurts, fostering a deeper sense of wholeness so clients can live and relate from a full, healthy, and integrated heart.
I am a licensed therapist with over 12 years of experience. I received my Masters in Florida and am licensed at the highest level to practice independently. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and reside in Texas, I am also licensed in Colorado, Florida, Utah, South Carolina, and Vermont. I specialize in helping you identify and overcome issues that hinder your day-to-day enjoyment of life and/or interfere with progress towards goals you have set. In over thirty years of private practice counseling I have learned to meet clients’ needs not only with continued education and research but also through a multitude of life experiences. I enjoy working with a diverse range of clients and have found that humor when utilized in an appropriate way and time can be very beneficial.
I believe trust is a fundamental element in any relationship. This trust has to be developed and nurtured to remain genuine. Through trust other aspects important to the relationship can prosper such as comfort in being open, sincerity, and a willingness to change. I find that humor when utilized in an appropriate way and time can be very beneficial. I am a life-long Texan, however, I have traveled extensively and embraced many different cultures and location specific issues. Through all of life’s changes I have learned that, even with the best of plans, things still do not always work out the way we would like. I have experienced many of the same issues as my clients so can relate to them on a personal basis. This has also allowed me to acquire an understanding of what clients may be going through even if I have not experienced the exact situation. Through any adversity there is no reason to feel alone.

If you're dealing with anxiety, grief, trauma, or any other emotional or life challenge, I’ll work with you to unpack those feelings in a safe, supportive space. I've been blessed to have wonderful professional positions throughout my career (see roderickhaferphd.com). Most recently I was Vice-Chair of the Psychiatry Department at the University of Wisconsin. I enjoy working with all client presentations and believe that the "connection" with those I treat is critical to therapy success. I think a 15 to 30 minute free consultation would be the best approach to determine "our fit" in working together.

Life isn’t always sunshine and rainbows; it can be filled with challenges, difficulties, and hardships. I believe that life is all about perspective and the way we react to problems. Our trials and tribulations are opportunities for us to grow into stronger and wiser individuals. When challenges arise, most people ask, "Why?" I encourage my clients to change their mentality by asking, "How?"—how can I use this to grow and learn, make myself smarter and wiser?" I am a firm believer in empowering clients with the tools and knowledge needed to live a more fulfilling and productive life. With 8 years of sobriety and personal experience battling my own challenges, I know how helpful therapy can be in helping a person rebuild their life and become the person they want to be.
Do you feel overwhelmed these days? Are you constantly trying to strike a balance between the demands of work and parenting or co-parenting, while also managing your health, housework, and perhaps other demands? In your family, does the caretaking always fall to you? Are you experiencing depression and anxiety in reaction to either a past trauma and/or burnout from stress? I work with women who are experiencing what I like to call "multiple-role fatigue". I have experience in treating depression, anxiety, and trauma-related stress disorders common to women who face an ever-mounting load of responsibilities in a complex society, where being a mother or a caretaker often comes with diverse challenges and responsibilities. I also like to work with clients on their recovery from trauma. With this in mind, I incorporate various treatment modalities, where healing and recovery can take place through a combination of compassionate conversation, active listening, homework assignments journaling, mindfulness, self-reflection, cognitive behavior therapy, grief counseling, boundary setting and trauma-informed care. I also offer a faith-based support, where clients seeking a Christian approach are welcome.
I like to form a supportive alliance with caregivers to help them navigate the demands of parenting a child or children with higher needs. I focus on parental needs, and I work with clients using evidence-based techniques to empower them to achieve balance and experience lasting well-being. For parents, I'm a big advocate of self-care, and I help my clients learn to nurture themselves in a sustainable way to avoid burnout. I also believe that parents need to feel seen and heard, and the stress of parenting cannot be overemphasized. Forming a partnership with parents, giving them a forum in which they feel consistently supported in a compassionate and non-judgmental way, therefore, is one of my top priorities as a therapist.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I use dogs in my office while doing therapy. Please schedule telehealth or advise in advance if you are not comfortable in an office with animals. They do provide therapeutic support to clients and have been part of my practice for some time. I hold licenses in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida and specialty certification as a Certified Advanced Drug & Alcohol Counselor and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I am a firm believer in everything that happens creates the person. I am a whole life counselor and work with people to explore what it would take to move past the difficult times in life.
I take the time to get to know my clients and have many clients who have been with me for years. That doesn't mean someone will see me every week for the rest of their life. It means client know I am available when they have need. I do have clients who have seen me weekly for years not because they are dependent on me but because they have found benefit in processing their life regularly.
I have had a successful personal practice for years and can offer clients the space and reverence to unpack the most unpleasant things to reorder them in a way they no longer can cause harm as they once did. There is no perfect childhood and it is likely families do the best they can and it may not have filled the needs of their child.
I am happy to take as much time as needed to work through the problem as you understand it.
I’m a licensed counselor with a PhD in Counseling and Counselor Education, licensed in North Carolina, Florida, and New Jersey. Hello! I'm Jennifer. I've been a therapist for over 15 years, working with clients with everything from depression to anxiety to transitional issues. My specializations include women's issues including infertility, postpartum, parenting to menopause. As a mixed Asian provider, I am acutely attuned to issues of culture and intergenerational expectations. I also often see people who are in high stress, high achievement jobs that are on the verge of burnout.
I have several years of experience treating individuals, families, and adolescents using a holistic, empathic, and trauma-informed approach. Watching friends and family struggle with mental health and substance abuse issues fueled my passion for helping those who struggle with these difficulties from a place of understanding, patience, and empathy. I received a BA in psychology first, which led to obtaining a substance abuse certificate. I gained experience working with families and individuals and, after some time, I was ready to further my education and obtained a Master of Social Work. This helped me expand my clinical skills and learn more targeted therapy modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, DBT, psychoanalytical care, and art therapy. I found these approaches are a great synthesis of neuroscience, trauma, and creativity.

I began my practice career as a crisis clinician in Emergency Services serving populations from children & adolescents to the geriatric community; since then, I have moved on to private practice working with clients in Virginia, Florida, Missouri, and am currently living and practicing in Colorado!
Things that fill my cup: hiking with my family, running, staying strong, my two unofficial therapy dogs (who will often make appearances in session), reading, coloring, and visiting a different playground every weekend trying to please a toddler.
I am passionate and supportive of equality in human rights and resources, diversity, acceptance, and finding and speaking your own individual truth.
Hello,
With over 18 years of experience in the mental health field, I have a conviction about the human capacity to grow, develop, and adapt throughout life. I appreciate that each person brings to therapy a unique self: the combination of one's personal characteristics, early family relationships, and life experiences.
Many times, our most significant growth occurs because of learning to cope with challenges that occur in life and the stress that often accompanies change. Therapy can be an excellent tool to help clarify your thoughts, as well as reach a healthy life balance. I look forward to meeting with you and working hard together to explore the deeper meanings of your experiences as they relate to the present, and how you would like to see yourself in the future.
