New to Grow
Hello. I am a seasoned mental health counselor who has significant experience working with teens and young adults involved in child welfare and juvenile justice systems. I work with teens and young adults who are navigating trauma, grief, PTSD, and major life transitions. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed, lonely, or disconnected as they work through family divorce, peer stress, breakups, loss, cultural family differences, or the uncertainty that can come with college, adulthood, or aging out of foster care.
In the first session, we’ll talk through what has been going on, what feels most important right now, and what kind of support would feel most helpful. We’ll begin identifying the experiences, stressors, or losses that may be affecting you and start building a plan that feels manageable and clear. My goal is for the first session to feel supportive, grounded, and useful.
Although I use a certain therapeutic approach, I am mainly client-centered and meet where my clients are at.

Many of my clients feel overwhelmed, lonely, or disconnected as they work through family divorce, peer stress, breakups, loss, cultural family differences, or the uncertainty that can come with college, adulthood, or aging out of foster care. I help clients build support, process difficult experiences, and feel more grounded in themselves as they move through painful or uncertain seasons of life. If you are a mental health professional needing services, I also have the experience in providing clinical supervision to interns. The service I offer is not for clinical supervision for licensure but rather providing your own mental health support as you continue to help your clients.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use cognitive and behavioral therapy along with psychodynamic therapy methods to help my clients have alternative options for treatment. However, I will modify my approach to be more client-centered.
