I predominantly work with young men struggling with social anxiety disorder. Do you struggle with social anxiety and poor self-confidence? I know that overcoming it is possible! Many come to therapy for social anxiety because of childhood trauma and how it has manifested in their adult lives. Often this manifests in feelings of poor self-confidence, poor self-worth, and poor self-confidence. At its root, the fundamental belief of those who have social anxiety is the belief, “I am not enough.” Clients get into the habit of comparing themselves to others and it makes them feel inadequate and insecure. Over time clients begin to avoid situations that elicit their anxiety, particularly social situations. This can lead to social isolation and loneliness. Clients will present with complaints of frequent panic attacks, not having a romantic partner, not having friends, not being happy in their jobs and feeling disconnected from life. They are labeled by others as shy, quiet, or introverted. This scenario described myself for much of my life which gives me lived experience to better able to assist you. I help individuals combat their social fears and begin to live a rich and fulfilling life. I do this through cognitive behavioral therapy techniques primarily but also integrate solution-focused therapy, assertiveness training, exposure therapy, and acceptance & commitment therapy. Whether you're a teen struggling to make friends and socialize or you are an adult unable to speak up at work meetings or unable to ask someone out on a date, I'm here for you! Seeking therapy can be frightening but I want to assure you that you will be most welcome if you take that leap of faith!

Hi, I’m a therapist who believes therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating or clinical to be effective. I help people sort through stress, self-doubt, relationship tension, and life transitions—with clarity, compassion, and a healthy dose of humor. My clients often tell me they chose me because I feel relatable and real, and because I’m not afraid to laugh with them even when things are tough. I’m straightforward and down-to-earth. I’ll meet you where you are without judgment, help you challenge what’s keeping you stuck, and walk alongside you as you make sense of what’s working—and what isn’t. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. I believe in real conversations, real growth, and helping you feel like yourself again (or maybe for the first time). Whether you’re navigating anxiety, burnout, relationship struggles, or just trying to feel more grounded in your life, I’m here to help you reconnect with your strength, your clarity, and your sense of possibility. You don’t have to be perfect or polished. Just bring yourself—we’ll take it from there.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for ten years now. You will always know yourself better than I can or will. From a philosophical and theoretical standpoint. I am overwhelming more of an attachment theorist, and have been known to use existentialism from time to time to help make sense of something. I guess the question that remains though is; can a butterfly flap it's wings in Brazil and cause a tornado in Kentucky, or are we all simply just products of our childhood and mirrors of our parents traumas? The duality of life. Attachment Theory vs. Chaos Theory. Both have value. I digress. My goal is to provide a petridish in which you can explore your self. Safe. Contained. Yet completely in your control. The paradox being, you likely already have what you need. I'll sit with you while you find it. I can give you my clinical opinion, or diagnosis, and recommendations along the way as well if you'd like that. I can just sit and listen. I can play devils advocate. My job is to listen, empower, observe, and provide feedback when requested.

Hi, I'm glad you're here! I am a Haitian American clinician, born and raised in Miami, Florida, with a deep appreciation for culture, community, and faith. As a Christian and a licensed clinical social worker, I strive to create a therapeutic space that is compassionate, nonjudgmental, and grounded in both evidence-based practice and respect for each person’s values and lived experience. I earned my master’s in social work from Florida Atlantic University and have dedicated my career to helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship stress, and life transitions. My primary treatment approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which focuses on helping clients understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, enabling them to develop healthier patterns and practical tools for daily life. I am also currently in the process of becoming trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an approach that can be particularly helpful for those who have experienced trauma or distressing life events. As a Haitian American therapist, I understand the importance of identity, intergenerational dynamics, and cultural nuance in the healing process. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and beliefs and am especially passionate supporting those who may be navigating the intersection of culture, faith, and mental health. Hello, and welcome. Reaching out for support is a courageous step, and my goal is to provide a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported while working toward meaningful change. I’m a Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, emotional overwhelm, relationship challenges, trauma, and major life transitions. I believe therapy should be both compassionate and honest. While I provide empathy, encouragement, and support, I also believe growth sometimes requires direct conversations delivered with care and respect. My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental, but I’m also willing to challenge unhealthy patterns, help you gain insight, and encourage accountability when needed so you can move forward in healthier ways. With experience working in emergency departments, psychiatric units, transitional housing programs for substance abuse, and with military families, I’ve supported individuals through some of life’s most difficult and emotionally complex experiences. These settings have strengthened my ability to remain calm under pressure while helping clients feel grounded, heard, and empowered during challenging times. My therapeutic approach combines evidence-based techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and psychoeducation, to help you better understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we’ll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck and build practical tools to help you cope more effectively, improve emotional balance, and create lasting change. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, disconnected, or simply ready for growth, therapy can help you gain clarity, healing, and confidence. I would be honored to support you on that journey.

I bring empathy, warmth, and a nonjudgmental presence to every session, because I know firsthand how powerful it can be to feel truly heard and supported. My goal is to help you move beyond simply surviving to genuinely thriving. I use evidence-based techniques—including mindfulness, CBT, motivational interviewing, trauma-focused interventions, and person-centered therapy—tailored to your unique needs and goals.

Christian therapists who truly “get it” aren’t always easy to find. The good news? You don't have to choose between therapy and your faith. I offer a faith-affirming space for Christian women to explore their mental and emotional health without having to set aside their beliefs. Whether you're working through anxiety, past trauma, relationship challenges, or spiritual burnout: therapy can be a powerful step toward healing and wholeness. Together, we’ll integrate your faith and mental health in a way that feels authentic, grounded, and empowering. Hi! My name is Cassie, and I'm a Christian, faith-based therapist located in the sunny (and sometimes rainy!) state of Florida. The questions posed above speak to challenges many of us are regularly faced with, but may find it difficult to speak about. Instead, we may find ourselves harboring feeling of shame and guilt which blocks us from pursuing and receiving the help we need. Well, here’s the good news! Therapy with me is conducted within a safe, judgment-free space, where I provide opportunities for you to face those challenges and express those feelings. . I believe in the power of faith to guide healing, and I am honored to walk alongside individuals who desire therapy that aligns with their beliefs. At each stage of treatment, we’ll collaborate to assess and engage in a way which best fits you. With over six (6) years of professional experience, and a host of treatment methods to rely on, you can rest assured in my ability to meet you uniquely in your place of need. Ultimately, my desire is to help you reach a place of freedom and peace, where you can begin experiencing incremental yet impactful improvements to your overall wellbeing so your life and relationships can bear the fruit they were always meant to.

I believe that each one of us has the answers to our problems inside of us. However, sometimes we need someone on our journey to help us unlock those answers by asking the right questions---things you may not have considered, presenting proven strategies, and psychoeducation. Although, you will make strides with the energy and effort you give, the number one predictor that one will improve is the quality of the therapeutic relationship. I hope to provide a place of warmth, compassion, and acceptance in which you feel empowered and free to approach any concerns. I am here to help you along on your journey. I am a licensed mental health counselor in Arizona, Florida, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, and Utah. I graduated from Florida Atlantic University with an Educational Specialist degree in Mental Health Counseling. I also earned a Master's of Art from Roosevelt University. I have experience working with youth and their families as well as adults. The theoretical framework that I usually draw from is Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. I also apply Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing Techniques as needed. I address trauma, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, interpersonal skills, self-esteem, anger, problem-solving, and decision-making. In conjunction with therapy, I believe that exercise, proper nutrition, and good sleep hygiene are an integral part of overcoming mental health concerns. Change, even positive change can be challenging and uncomfortable. I hope to provide the necessary support as a champion of change.

You may have heard things like, “Just move on,” “let it go,” or “that’s in the past.” But if the pain is still there, if your heart feels heavy, if it affects your daily life, if you have to pretend everything is fine, or if it takes great effort just to get through your responsibilities, you may be experiencing trauma-related responses. Therapy offers a safe and supportive space where you can process what you’ve been through, validate your emotions, and develop healthy ways to heal and move forward. A trauma-focused approach allows us to work gently and effectively with your experiences while strengthening your emotional stability and sense of control. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), bilingual in English and Spanish, with extensive experience providing trauma-focused individual therapy. I earned my Master’s degree from Nova Southeastern University in Miami, Florida, and have been practicing as a mental health professional since 2017. Prior to working in the United States, I obtained my Bachelor’s degree and practiced as a Psychotherapist in Cuba for eight years.

I’m a licensed mental health provider with five years of experience supporting individuals across outpatient, inpatient, hospital, and school settings. This diverse background allows me to understand the full spectrum of mental health needs and to adapt my approach to meet each client exactly where they are. My therapeutic style is direct but gentle. I believe in being honest and clear while still offering compassion, steadiness, and genuine care. Therapy can feel intimidating, especially when you’re exploring long‑held patterns or negative core beliefs. My role is to help you navigate that process with support, curiosity, and even moments of humor. I value creating a space where you can show up authentically, feel understood, and work toward meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.
