I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 12 years of experience supporting adults through cancer, survivorship, caregiving, and other major life and medical transitions. My work often focuses on the emotional and relational impact of these experiences—including anxiety, grief, changes in identity and body image, relationship concerns, and shifts in intimacy and sexual health. I also work with adults who want to better understand themselves and the patterns that show up in their relationships, especially during times of change, uncertainty, or stress. I also specialize in sexual health and intimacy, supporting individuals who are navigating desire differences, sexual shame, body image concerns, or changes related to illness, stress, aging, or past experiences. These can be difficult topics to talk about, but they are an important part of emotional and relational well-being—and they deserve thoughtful, non-judgmental care. My approach to therapy is collaborative, relational, and tailored to your unique needs. Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you—it’s about helping you better understand what you’re carrying, reconnect with your strengths, and move forward with more clarity, self-compassion, and intention.

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in ADHD therapy for adults, couples, families, and college students across Florida and Wisconsin struggling with emotional exhaustion, unfinished tasks, relationship conflict, burnout, or chronic overwhelm. Many of the clients I work with have spent years feeling frustrated with not being able to consistently follow through, stay organized, manage emotions, or function at the level they know they are capable of. Before becoming a therapist, I spent over 20 years as a Life Coach and ADHD Coach, studying and working exclusively with one condition: Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). That experience gave me firsthand insight into how deeply ADHD can affect confidence, relationships, emotional regulation, organization, and everyday functioning over time. This foundation allows me to help clients address the emotional and relational patterns that often develop after years of feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, disorganized, or mentally overloaded. My work centers on helping people better understand how ADHD affects emotions, relationships, and everyday life so they can move forward with greater clarity and self-understanding. Together, we'll identify what's getting in the way and build practical strategies that actually fit how your brain works.

Welcome and thank you for expressing interest in my services! I’m Chris, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over a decade of experience supporting adults through life’s most overwhelming challenges. I know how hard it can feel to take the first step toward therapy whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, anger management, abandonment issues, trauma, or long-standing patterns that no longer serve you. If you’re here, you’ve already shown courage by exploring support and I’m glad you’re taking that step. I believe therapy works best when we build mutual trust and understanding. In our work together, I’ll listen deeply to your story, help you make sense of what’s been holding you back, and collaborate with you to identify goals that feel meaningful and achievable. Hi, I'm Nick. Clients who end up finding me are often capable and self-aware, but still find themselves overthinking, shutting down, becoming defensive, or feeling responsible for other people’s emotions. They often grew up being treated as “the problem” in their family of origin, and have learned to mask important parts of themselves, or were told their needs and reactions were too much. I work with LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent individuals who want to understand why certain patterns keep returning, and actually change them in a deeper way beyond just self-awareness and insight. I view symptoms as having developed for understandable reasons and still feel necessary in situations that trigger implicit learnings from the past. Together, we’ll become curious about what a very specific pattern might be protecting and develop new ways to respond. The aim here is to create greater self-trust to allow for actual meaningful change.

Hi, I’m Lauryn-Maggie! I’m a solution-oriented therapist who believes healing can be challenging without always having to feel heavy. So much of therapy involves unlearning patterns we didn’t necessarily create ourselves; from generational cycles to attachment and relationship patterns (just to name a few). I’ll make space for the hard stuff while also helping you understand the “why,” find practical ways forward, and hopefully laugh a little along the way. I am not just talking about change, we’re working toward it together.

If you’re here, you might be carrying pain that started long before adulthood—pain from childhood experiences, family dynamics, or relationships that taught you to stay small, silent, or strong for others. You might still hear those old internal messages: “I’m not enough,” “I’m too much,” or “I have to hold everything together.” I want you to know: you don’t have to carry this alone anymore. I’m a trauma-informed therapist specializing in EMDR, DBT, CBT, and inner child work. I help trauma survivors, anxious overthinkers, chronic self-critics, and those healing from emotionally complicated families reconnect with themselves and build a life that feels safe, calm, and authentic. I bring five years of experience working with individuals who feel stuck between who they are and who they want to become. My style is warm, grounding, and collaborative. I show up as a real human—not a distant clinician—offering a balance of compassion, clarity, and practical tools. I help you understand your emotional world, reconnect with the parts of you that learned to survive, and begin healing the inner child who deserved more care, safety, and love than they received. In therapy, you’ll learn to regulate overwhelming emotions, break cycles of self-doubt, understand your triggers, and finally build a healthier, more compassionate relationship with yourself. I work from a place of inclusivity, authenticity, and deep respect for your lived experience. If you’re ready to stop surviving and start truly living—to feel safer in your body, kinder toward yourself, and more connected to who you were meant to be—I’m here to walk beside you. Your healing starts now.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and have been licensed since 1996. I work with clients experiencing a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, attachment related issues, and a wide variety of trauma related situations, particularly with military personnel and first responders. I also have extensive post graduate training in areas related to neuropsychology, adoption, custody, child abuse, and forensics. I am qualified as an expert in these areas in several court jurisdictions in Florida and have worked internationally as well (Japan and Europe) in context with the military and internationals from Japan, Italy, and England. My doctoral research areas were Case Conceptualization and Attachment/Adult Psychopathology and I have served as an adjunct professor in clinical mental health My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. I consider our therapeutic relationship as one as "an exchange of ideas". My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, solution focused, psychodynamic and developmental based counseling. I am well trained in other modalities as well. I understand that it takes courage to seek help, and it's not easy to face fear. I do not believe that "you are your diagnosis". Rather, I will view you "as a a unique individual facing some challenges". My background and training is unique, and I think you will find that I see things very differently than most clinicians. I look forward to working with you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, families, and groups from diverse cultural, economic, and ethnic backgrounds. My career has taken me across the U.S. and abroad—including New York City, California, and Dublin, Ireland—giving me a broad perspective on the many ways people navigate life’s challenges. Currently, I provide tele-therapy sessions through a HIPAA-compliant platform. Many of my clients have found this format especially helpful in balancing therapy with their busy or unpredictable schedules. My areas of expertise include working with issues related to gender identity, sexuality, and non-traditional relationships (including polyamory and open relationships). I also bring both clinical expertise and personal insight into the challenges that arise in connection with personality disorders such as Narcissistic, Borderline, Avoidant, and Antisocial Personality Disorders. In particular, I help clients process and heal from the emotional trauma that often accompanies relationships impacted by these dynamics. My approach is collaborative, non-judgmental, and grounded in respect for each person’s unique experience. Whether you are seeking support around identity, relationships, or recovery from difficult past experiences, I provide a safe and affirming space where growth and healing are possible. Outside of my work as a therapist, I find joy in activities that keep me grounded and creative. I love traveling and exploring new places, tending to my garden, playing the piano, working out, and cooking. I also have a passion for interior design and creating welcoming spaces. Hello, I'm Allison. I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist who has been in private practice since 2018. I previously worked in dual diagnosis treatment centers for addiction/ mental health for seven years. I help individuals, couples and families improve communication, rebuild connection, and navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence. Many times clients who contact me have no experience in therapy, but just know that their life is not satisfying or something is off. That's enough by the way! Anything and everything can be discussed in therapy. I have frequently been told I'm easy to open up to, and clients often feel relieved that I am more directive than a therapist who listens without guidance. I enjoy cheering on my clients' wins, but also being there for the hard moments, and genuinely love what I do. Finding relief and reconnecting with a sense of peace is more achievable than it might feel right now—and once you start, the process of change often unfolds more quickly than you expect. Hi—Hola. I’m Andrea, and I’m truly glad you’re here. For over nine years, I have walked alongside people as they navigate anxiety, childhood and adult trauma, depression, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions. Because I have my own lived experience with trauma, I deeply understand how it can stay in the body and nervous system—often showing up as overthinking, people-pleasing, perfectionism, or that heavy, persistent feeling of never being quite “enough.” My therapeutic style is warm, trauma-informed, and bilingual (English/Spanish). My clinical expertise is focused on supporting clients through depression and anxiety, healing childhood trauma, repairing attachment wounds, and helping you gently reconnect with your body as a vital part of your healing. My hope is to offer you a steady, supportive space where you can set down what feels heavy. Together, we will work at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you, building tools that truly help—like setting loving boundaries, nurturing a kinder inner voice, and creating healthier, more fulfilling relationship patterns. Because finding the right therapist is such a deeply personal and important part of your journey, I want to make sure I am the best possible fit for you. As much as I would love to help everyone who reaches out, ethically and professionally, I cannot. It is my responsibility to ensure you get the exact care you need and deserve. With that in mind, I invite you to read through my full profile. At the bottom, you will see a list of diagnoses and concerns that fall outside of my clinical expertise. If what you are going through right now is on that list, I encourage you to seek out a provider whose specialties speak directly to your needs. You truly deserve to be supported by someone who is fully equipped to guide you.

As a licensed clinical social worker, I am committed to collecting evidenced based "tools for my toolbox" to aid those grappling with finding the new normal after their world has shifted. I most love helping people find language to describe their losses, often when there has been difficulty finding the words, inspiring people to find hope again, and facilitate the development of a plan to move forward in a way that both honors their experiences and embraces the future. I take an action-oriented, collaborative approach to therapy. I utilize a combination of psychoeducation, storytelling, and evidenced-based interventions to offer meaningful insight to support clients’ healing. I strongly believe that rock bottom is the foundation upon which we can rebuild our lives. We do regular check-ins to review progress along the way. Our goal is not to change the past, but instead to find some relief from symptoms that impact daily functioning. I will solicit feedback regularly during sessions for takeaways to gauge progress and curate treatment interventions based on what is most engaging and productive for the individual client.

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a deep passion for helping individuals and couples build healthier, more connected relationships. Over the past 12 years, I’ve supported clients in breaking destructive patterns, improving communication, and creating relationships rooted in respect and understanding. I believe that when relationships struggle, it’s often because of conflicting expectations, unmet needs, or repeated behaviors that no longer serve us. My role is to help you recognize these patterns and choose new ways of communicating that create connection instead of conflict. I use a holistic approach that considers the mind, body, and spirit, helping you grow not just in your relationships, but as a whole person.

I believe healing begins with understanding. Many of the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that bring people to therapy are not signs of weakness or failure—they are often adaptations that developed in response to difficult experiences, stress, or adversity. While these patterns may have helped you cope or protect yourself at one point in your life, they can sometimes create challenges in relationships, work, and overall well-being. My approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and collaborative. I strive to create a space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to explore their experiences without judgment. Together, we will work to understand not only what is happening in your life, but also why certain patterns may have developed and whether they continue to serve you today. Earlier experiences in my own life taught me that adversity can shape the way we view ourselves, others, and the world around us. Through these experiences, I developed a deep appreciation for how the mind and nervous system adapt to help us navigate challenges. The mind is designed to prioritize safety and survival, and many of the symptoms people experience are understandable responses to difficult circumstances rather than character flaws. While these adaptations may have been necessary at one point, healing often involves learning new ways of responding that better support the life you want to build. I work with individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, and self-esteem concerns. My goal is to help clients increase self-awareness, build resilience, strengthen boundaries, and develop practical tools for lasting change. Together, we can help you better understand yourself, reconnect with your strengths, and move forward with greater confidence, flexibility, and self-compassion.

Hola! I’m a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with more than a decade of experience in mental health, behavioral health, and non-profit work. I grew up in Los Angeles, completed my Master of Social Work at Fordham University in the Bronx, and now call Ocala, Florida home. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals and families across the lifespan, each with their own unique stories and needs. My work is guided by an integrative approach, meaning I draw from a variety of therapeutic methods to find what fits best for you. I’ve worked extensively with family systems, intergenerational trauma, parents and children facing behavioral challenges, neurodivergent individuals, women navigating life transitions, and people seeking to better understand themselves and the patterns that may be causing distress, mood difficulties, anxiety, or OCD. Some of my specialties include helping young adults transition into life after high school, supporting parents and partners as they navigate family life, and walking alongside Latina women who are balancing relationships, cultural expectations, independence, and self-care. I believe deeply that every person’s journey is unique. That’s why I focus on meeting you exactly where you are, empowering you to uncover strengths, solutions, and coping strategies that work for your life. While I am trained in CBT and DBT, I see these as tools within a broader, collaborative process. At the heart of my practice is client-centered care — because there is no single path to healing that fits everyone. Together, we’ll create a treatment plan that honors your voice, builds on your resilience, and empowers you to move toward the life you want to live.

Frequently asked questions

When looking for online therapy, you can see anyone that is credentialed in Florida. We want you to find the best fit, therefore, Grow Therapy shows available therapists across Florida from Miami to Jacksonville! If you’d rather see someone in-person, you can change the filter from virtual and find a therapist near you in Florida.

When booking you’ll be asked to verify with your Member ID. However, if you don’t have any of the insurances available you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
