Hi. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Florida. I obtained an M.S. in Science at Hodges University with a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. For over 4 years I have provided therapy services within various settings to adolescents and adults. I strive to provide a safe space to process your emotions, past experiences, and reconnect with yourself in healthy ways.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session I'll work to create a good therapeutic relationship. We will work together to complete a thorough assessment that will him me understand your history and the reason(s) that bring you into therapy. You'll have the opportunity to ask me questions as well as identify specific goals that you would like to focus on in upcoming sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My training and lived experience has enabled me to greatly understand the condition of human suffering. My values, ethics, and spirituality inform my clinical practice. My therapeutic approach is relational. I have a sense of humor. I like to identify and work with the strengths of my clients. I am open to expressive ways of communicating that include writing, poetry, and somatic approaches.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with adults who have a hunger for change but simply lack the tools to make these goals a reality. My clients are willing to engage in the hard work of looking through the mirror within the therapeutic process. They recognize and acknowledge where they are and are willing to journey towards new ways of thinking and relating to themselves and others.

My treatment methods

Faith based therapy

I have experience providing therapy services to clients who desire a therapist who respects their faith and values. I work with the client's spirituality and upon request of the client integrate spiritual resources into the therapy process.

Eclectic

I provide person-centered care that integrates approaches that are relational and supportive to fit the unique needs of the client. I utilize interventions that are culturally sensitive. I am eclectic and in my work I utilize methods from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Polyvagal Theory, and Bibliotherapy.
