My path to becoming a mental health provider has been deeply influenced by both my personal background and my professional experiences. Growing up, I was surrounded by the work of my mother, who was a social worker. I saw firsthand the impact she had on individuals and families, and it inspired me to pursue a similar career. I was always drawn to the idea of helping others navigate difficult circumstances and providing support during times of crisis or transition. Her work shaped my understanding of the value of compassion, empathy, and practical intervention in improving lives.
As a licensed therapist, I specialize in helping individuals manage the emotional, psychological, and practical aspects of these life adjustments.
I take a compassionate, client-centered approach to therapy, emphasizing empathy and understanding. My methods are tailored to each person’s unique experiences and challenges. Over time, we’ll work together to deepen your self-awareness, develop coping mechanisms, and create practical tools for managing the ups and downs of life.
I provide a safe space where you can feel heard and supported as you explore your feelings and develop skills to move forward. I focus on helping you make meaningful shifts in how you think, feel, and act. If you’re ready to take the first step toward navigating life’s transitions with more ease and confidence, I’m here to help.

I completed my Masters in 2005, while also starting my journey in the field in 2004. I spent a year working in Opiate addiction but my true passion was children and families. I moved on to intensive services, working with underserved children and their families in rural areas, from 2005-2007. After leaving that position, I moved onto a company doing similar work. where I continued to work with children, families and adults that were underserved for 5 more years. I provided therapy in homes, schools and the office setting. I began to focus in on Trauma work as well as anxiety disorders to include OCD and all other anxiety disorders. After spending nearly 10 years in the field, I decided to get my license in the state of Florida (LMHC-Licensed Mental Health Counselor) and move into a management role where I worked for the past 13 years while also maintaining private clients. I supervise therapists, working to become licensed, so I spend a lot of time consulting on cases of all kinds. In this time I was also trained in various forms of trauma based cognitive behavioral approaches as well as EMDR (still learning however).

My work centers on reducing the stigma surrounding mental health and empowering people to build lives that are meaningful, fulfilling and a life worth living. Using a personalized and compassionate approach, I meet you where you are, offering a nonjudgmental environment where you can feel heard, understood, and supported. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Board Certified Art Therapist, and my approach is strength based and client centered. Although I mostly use a cognitive behavioral framework, art therapy is something special I offer to my clients knowing it can be a powerful and unique way to process emotions and experiences. Whether a client is going through a challenging life transition, suffer from more chronic clinical diagnoses or have areas of life they want to reflect on to change or improve, I encourage them to reach out for a complimentary consult call. I look forward to working with individuals on their own journey of personal growth and healing.
My approach to therapy is solution-focused and practical. While talking things through is important, I also believe therapy should help you build tools you can actually use in your everyday life. Together, we focus on what’s happening right now and look for realistic ways to make things feel more manageable.
I often incorporate mindfulness in a grounded, approachable way. This isn’t about doing it perfectly or trying to feel calm all the time. It’s about learning how to notice what’s going on inside you, slow things down, and respond with more intention rather than reacting on autopilot.
Above all, I care about the relationship we build. I aim to create a warm, non-judgmental, and collaborative space where trust can grow and you can show up as you are. Therapy with me is a partnership, and we work at a pace that feels right for you, safe and respectful.

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, but you do not have to navigate life's challenges alone. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, navigating a major life transition, working through past trauma, or simply seeking a clearer understanding of yourself, I provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space to help you heal and grow.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who relocated from NY State to Florida and have been practicing for over 30 years. I enjoy teaching (and practicing) coping skills for stress, anxiety and depression. Everyone's journey is different and I see myself as respectfully accompanying one on their own journey, reflecting on experiences along the way.
Are you experiencing frustration, confusion or turmoil in your life? Even to the point where you see no sense of direction while trying to navigate through life? At times, this can be overwhelming for individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, PTSD, including other mental health disorders. Hi! My name is Stephaney and I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with almost a decade of experience in treating adults and adolescents for various mental health challenges and co-occurring diagnoses.
I was inspired to become a therapist by my unique experience migrating to the United States at the age of 13 and attending middle school which was very challenging for me. Culture shock became my reality and one that would eventually lead me to “Severe anxiety.” Even with a very strong family support system, I felt alone and trapped by my own inner fears and self-defeating thoughts. Constant worry and fear of being bullied by my peers became my everyday experience.
Through all these obstacles, I was able to process my feelings and experiences with my faith in Jesus Christ, supportive family, and a few good friends. To this extent, I have come to recognize the benefits of a strong support system and the need for social and relational connection.
As a mental health counselor, I’m privileged to be a part of that support system for many people. I work with my clients to connect the dots between their thoughts, emotions, and actions, all while providing sound strategies to promote healthier thought processes. I believe that every human being deserves a chance to be heard and understood, and therapy has taught me that as human beings, we are more alike than different. So as your therapist, I’m excited to be a listening ear for you and help guide you toward your goals.
My journey as a therapist began with a deep fascination for the human mind and a genuine desire to make a positive impact in people's lives after growing up in the foster care system. I previously served in the Air Force, serving my country. I have a bachelor's in dietetics and nutrition with years of nutrition counseling as well. Over the years, I have honed my skills, gaining experience in various therapeutic techniques and approaches to better serve my clients.
I am welcoming to all who struggle with anger, trauma, psychosis, and stage of life issues such as divorce or loss. I specialize in individual counseling for substance abuse, anger, trauma, psychosis, and domestic violence.
I enjoy using Jungian psychology as a resource to help people explore the depth of their struggles and find hope on the other side. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused therapy as tools to accomplish this.
Things can get better, and we can be okay--no matter what life brings our way. I enjoy the opportunity to help people explore and move their lives forward. There is always hope, and there is always opportunity to grow.
When life feels overwhelming, guidance and support can make all the difference! Together, we’ll work through the challenges of trauma, anxiety, depression, (aka living) with evidence-based strategies — not just to manage symptoms, but to create lasting changes. I have worked with a wide variety of populations; including college students/emerging adults, those in transition from separation/divorce, children, adolescents and their parents including children who have experienced trauma.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker holding a Master of Social Work degree and a Substance Use Disorders & Addictions Certificate from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, earned in May 2020.
I am certified in Multi-Modal Attachment Therapy (M-MAT) Level III and Therapeutic Martial Arts Level II.
I have education in Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. I bring expertise in helping individuals navigate anxiety, ADHD, stress, and relationship issues.
I am intentional about implementing a compassionate, client- and family-centered approach, tailoring care to the unique needs of children, adolescents, adults, and families. Through personal and professional channels, I have experience navigating the ever-changing and non-traditional experiences of military-affiliated individuals and families.
With unconditional support and warm accountability, I foster a safe and consistent environment that emphasizes each client’s strengths and encourages personal growth.
My work focuses on improving emotional regulation, building practical coping skills, and boosting self-esteem; empowering clients to achieve lasting positive change and cultivate stronger, more meaningful relationships.
Outside of my professional work, I enjoy attending live performances, visiting amusement parks, engaging in arts and crafts, watching horror movies and true crime shows, spending time outdoors, savoring sushi, playing games, and training and competing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Many people come to therapy after spending months—or even years—trying to handle everything on their own. You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, burned out, disconnected, or frustrated that despite your best efforts, things aren't getting better. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, relationship challenges, or a major life transition, therapy can help you regain clarity, develop effective coping strategies, and move forward with greater confidence.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than a decade of experience helping adults navigate complex mental health challenges and life stressors. As a Senior Social Worker with the Department of Veterans Affairs, I have extensive experience working with veterans, healthcare professionals, and individuals facing significant emotional, behavioral, and life challenges.
My approach is practical, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I believe therapy should be more than simply talking about problems—it should help you better understand yourself, identify patterns that may be holding you back, and develop realistic strategies for meaningful change. Together, we'll build on your strengths while developing practical tools to help you navigate life's challenges more effectively.
I work particularly well with adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, ADHD-related challenges, stress, burnout, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. I also have a strong understanding of the unique experiences and challenges faced by veterans and military families.
Meaningful change begins with a willingness to take the first step. If you're ready to gain clarity, build effective coping strategies, and create a path forward that aligns with your goals and values, I welcome the opportunity to work with you.
Hi there! I'm Samantha, a licensed mental health counselor based in Florida. My passion for mental health care began when I took my first psychology class in high school. I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from Florida Atlantic University in 2017, followed by my Master and Doctorate in Social Work from Barry University in 2018 and 2024, respectively. I became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2020 and have been practicing for 8 years. Clients often describe me as compassionate, attentive, and nonjudgmental. Ultimately, my goal is to help you navigate life’s challenges with confidence and create meaningful change that feels authentic to you.
Sometimes our thoughts and feelings can make it seem like they're "running the show." It’s common for life to get busy, new experiences to come into the mix, and for our old coping strategies to come back.

I specialize in working with the LGBT population, and I use approaches like IFS, EMDR, DBT, ACT, and attachment-based therapy techniques to help people find relief and build practical skills. I'm a bilingual licensed psychotherapist (LMHC) based in Miami, originally from Puerto Rico. I provide individual therapy in both English and Spanish, creating a space where you don’t have to explain your culture, your identity or why you feel like you don’t quite fit in. I earned my Master’s in Psychology from Albizu University and my Bachelor’s degree back home in San Juan, Puerto Rico, shaping my ability to blend cultural understanding with evidence-based care.
I specialize in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, grief, identity struggles, relationship challenges, and the unique experiences of the LGBTQ+ community. My style is warm, honest, and a little humorous when it helps. If you’ve ever felt misunderstood, emotionally drained, or stuck in survival mode, you’re not alone. I believe some pain doesn’t come with a lesson and that’s totally fine. Healing is still possible, even in the darkest moments, not because we need to erase the pain, but because we learn to sit with it, honor it, and grow from it only when we’re ready!

During the first session, you can expect an easy-going conversation to build a therapeutic alliance. At the moment, I practice entirely over tele-health, giving us the flexibility to connect conveniently and safely.
"PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING: Services are provided to clients who are interested in therapy on a short-term (one to three months) or long-term basis. For any requests for administrative services like disability certification, administrative letters, and special accommodations (such as Emotional Support Animals letters) related to a psychological condition, **please seek the services of another mental health provider**. The reason for this policy is to focus on building a therapeutic alliance and allocating resources for clinical services, not administrative tasks. Certain administrative services may be considered for long-term clients on a case-by-case basis and cannot be guaranteed."
As a warm, positive, and energetic therapist, I bring extensive experience working with clients of all ages, from children and adolescents to older adults, across various settings. My approach is open-minded and adaptable, ensuring that each client feels comfortable and understood. I am dedicated to helping clients achieve their desired changes and goals, providing a supportive, approachable environment where meaningful conversations can occur.
Hello, my name is Tesia, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with over 10 years of professional experience. I also have extensive experience supporting individuals and families with communication and relational dynamics.
I believe therapy should be a space where you feel heard, supported, and free from judgment. Many people spend their lives caring for others without having a place of their own to process what they carry. My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate environment where you can explore your thoughts and emotions while developing the tools needed to heal and grow.
I am deeply committed to making therapy accessible and affordable. I understand that reaching out for help is not easy, and for many, it can feel like one of the hardest steps to take. Choosing to begin therapy is a powerful first step toward becoming the best version of yourself, and I am here to support you every step of the way.
You deserve to feel well and live your most authentic life. I provide tools to help you embrace a deeper understanding of yourself, strengthen your coping mechanisms, improve your mood, and thrive with increased daily functioning, self-efficacy, self-esteem, self-awareness, and authentic self-expression.
When life feels overwhelming, our minds can convince us that we are alone in our daily challenges and during our most difficult times. We get used to handling it on our own. I believe there is a better way. Working with a psychotherapist who can deeply connect with where you are on your healing journey can be transformative. Transformation might look like addressing symptoms, resolving a problem, or seeking something more. By guiding you to deeper insights and clearer understandings, together, we are better able to confront the barriers that may be holding you back from the life you want to live.
Life presents a series of unique challenges and transitions that shape our experiences and personal growth. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, my role is to provide a supportive and clinically informed environment where you can explore these challenges and develop strategies tailored to your needs. Together, we will work to strengthen relationships, build emotional resilience, and foster a deeper connection to your authentic self.
This is an opportunity to transform challenges into growth and to recognize and cultivate the strengths within you. I am committed to working collaboratively with you to promote clarity, confidence, and lasting fulfillment.
