I have been working in the field for over 25 years, though as a therapist specifically for about 21 years. I am currently in private practice in Gulfport, Florida and see clients both virtually and in-person.

I am Dr. Andre. I hold a bachelor's degree in theology, a master's degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling/Marriage & Family Therapy, and a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy. Looking back on my previous experiences of priestly ministry, crisis prevention, community mental health services, private practice, Part-Time faculty, therapeutic skills in various systemic approaches, and Corrections, I am well equipped to journey with you and assist you in making positive changes as designed. As a professor, I teach multiple approaches, including solution-focused theory, cognitive behavior therapy, narrative therapy, and systemic approaches. I employ the intervention based on the client's needs, strengths, and stages.

I have 10 years experience working with very hard family situations. I am a therapist that has worked with the hardest parts of the family situations: child welfare, children in foster care, parents who are trying to get their children back from foster care, heightened family conflict preceding divorce, parental alienation, reunification therapy, working with both perpetrators and victims. My experience extends also to some of the alternative relationship structures such as polyamory and kink communities.

I am a Licensed Professional Therapist, based in Florida. I was born in the Island of Jamaica but attended College in the USA, where I gained my Bachelors in Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University and my Masters from Palm Beach Atlantic University. I began my Professional work in 2019 and worked tirelessly with older teenagers, adults and seniors. However, I also did many hours of internship at a Counseling center and also at a Mental Health Facility, where I gained invaluable experiences.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience in the fields of mental health and substance abuse. I completed both my undergraduate (BSSW) & my graduate (MSW) studies at Florida International University in Miami, Florida, graduating as one of the youngest in my cohort. I have spent the majority of my career as a clinician working with the same underserved populations and communities I grew up in treating addictions and mental health disorders.
