What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I will discuss the intake with client in their first session and gather more information to obtain and assessment. This therapist will listen attentively and work collaboratively with you, tailoring our session to your unique needs. I believe in helping people work on what is important to them from a wholistic view and strengths based which would bring a more positive outcome.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I would like to teach my clients ways to challenge negative thoughts that lead to anxiety and racing thoughts. Client will learn how to restructure cognitive distortion and replace with positive thoughts.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I will assist clients in developing the following: mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal effectiveness and validation to improve emotional and psychological well-being.

Strength-Based

I assist clients in identifying their strengths and to take ownership of their positive characteristics. Client will also utilize affirmation statements and positive self talk to assist in strengthening for a more positive outcome.

Mind-body approach

I focus on holistic approach to practice due to highly believe that treating a person as a whole, mind, body, spirit and social factors is imperative to achieve a balance life style.
