My name is Noel Hartough and I am a person with a lot of lived experience with anxiety (spiritual and career). Anxiety and the success I had through work I did in therapy led to me becoming a therapist. I grew up around gray area drinking, family squabbles and being the introspective kid at the lunch table. I happen to be a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. I work with adolescents during the day and adults in the evenings. I believe that we are largely the result of our beliefs.
Change is hard, but when it’s needed, you feel it. Marital strain, career dissatisfaction, or lingering pain from the past can leave you feeling stuck, even when you know something has to shift. Taking those first steps toward change can feel daunting, but you don’t have to do it alone. Therapy offers a safe, supportive space to gain clarity, process emotions, and reconnect with your sense of purpose. Healing becomes possible when you have an empathetic and attuned witness to your story; someone who helps you uncover insight, strengthen emotional regulation, and find new ways forward.
I’ve worked in a variety of settings as a counselor, educator, and clinical supervisor, and I’m passionate about helping people create meaningful, lasting change in their lives. My approach is collaborative, emotioanlly-focused, practical, and rooted in respect for each person’s unique journey.
If you’re ready to do the inner work; to feel more grounded, balanced, connected, and fulfilled- therapy can help you get there. Prioritize yourself. This is your moment for growth.

I have always been empathetic towards others and have a passion for providing a helping hand to those in need. I understand that unfortunate situations in life can sometimes be unexpected. The hardships that we experience can make it difficult to cope, without the proper support.

Hi there, welcome to my practice. I invite you to journey with me in the collaborative process of becoming the best version of yourself. Together we can explore and identify your goals for therapy. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and have been licensed since 1996. I work with clients experiencing a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, attachment related issues, and a wide variety of trauma related situations, particularly with military personnel and first responders. I also have extensive post graduate training in areas related to neuropsychology, adoption, custody, child abuse, and forensics. I am qualified as an expert in these areas in several court jurisdictions in Florida and have worked internationally as well (Japan and Europe) in context with the military and internationals from Japan, Italy, and England. My doctoral research areas were Case Conceptualization and Attachment/Adult Psychopathology and I have served as an adjunct professor in clinical mental health
My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. I consider our therapeutic relationship as one as "an exchange of ideas". My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, solution focused, psychodynamic and developmental based counseling. I am well trained in other modalities as well.
I understand that it takes courage to seek help, and it's not easy to face fear. I do not believe that "you are your diagnosis". Rather, I will view you "as a a unique individual facing some challenges". My background and training is unique, and I think you will find that I see things very differently than most clinicians.
I look forward to working with you!

I am a bilingual (English and Spanish) Licensed Therapist who works with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, stress, trauma, and self-esteem concerns.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each client's unique needs. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and a systemic perspective, recognizing that our experiences are shaped by our relationships, family systems, and environment. In Narrative Therapy, I believe that the problem is the problem, not the person. Together, we work to separate individuals from the challenges they face, helping them develop more empowering and meaningful life stories.
I also integrate mindfulness-based interventions to help clients increase self-awareness, manage difficult emotions, and remain grounded during times of stress. My goal is to meet clients where they are, providing a safe, nonjudgmental space where they feel heard, respected, and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Addictions Professional, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults who struggle with trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, grief, behavioral issues, and life transitions.
