I has been working in the therapeutic field for well over 20 yrs. with experience in all areas of the field. I have experience working with the court system, having worked directly with the Department of Juvenile Justice, Department of Corrections and Department of Children and Families. II have experience conducting groups, which included substance abuse, anger management and depression and anxiety. My areas of work include: residential setting, crisis stabilization units, school setting, in-home setting, inpatient settings. I works with different age groups from individual therapy to couples counseling, incorporating different modalities to meet the clients unique needs. Her experience includes processing adjustment challenges, life transitions, communication, anxiety, trauma therapy, family issues, emotional regulation, relationship concerns and couples counseling.

My style is not always “easy”, I will most often push you past your comfort zone, but I will always be empathetic and patient ensuring your wellbeing at all times.

It takes time and work to see the change you want to see and therapeutic intervention can help you achieve your goals". I work with my clients from an empathetic and nonjudgmental perspective to help them improve resilience, independence, decision-making, and life competence.

My role is to guide and support you in learning about and implementing skills that will assist you live your best life. I meet each client where you are and build on your strengths while identifying and strengthening your weaknesses. I will assist you in identifying unhealthy patterns. It has taken a lifetime to create the person who you are currently and it is small changes that will assist in creating the person who you want to become.

I specialize in adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I have been trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psycho-education and Traumatic Incident Reduction. I specializes in a range of areas, which include: trauma, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, sexual assault victims, mood disorders, partner-relational concerns, family concerns, grief, substance, self-image and self-esteem issues, as well as anger and stress management.
