I am a licensed psychologist dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful change. I work with adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. My services are offered in Spanish and are specifically designed to support the Hispanic community, providing culturally and linguistically competent care. My goal is to create a supportive and personalized space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow. Together, we will work to build effective coping strategies, improve emotional well-being, and help you reconnect with the life you want to live.
In our first session, my priority is to create a comfortable and supportive environment where you feel safe sharing your story. We’ll spend time getting to know each other, discussing what brought you to therapy, and identifying your goals and needs. I’ll also ask some questions about your personal history to better understand your experiences and how they may be impacting you today. Most importantly, this is a space for you to be heard, and there’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready for. Together, we’ll start building a plan to guide our work and help you move toward meaningful, lasting change.
One of my greatest strengths as a provider is my ability to create a safe, culturally sensitive space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and understood—especially within the Hispanic community. I bring empathy, patience, and genuine curiosity to every session, which helps build strong, trusting relationships. I am also highly skilled at adapting therapy to meet each person's unique needs, using a combination of evidence-based techniques and a personalized, flexible approach. My focus is always on empowering clients with the tools, insight, and confidence to create lasting, positive change in their lives.
I work best with individuals who are ready to understand themselves on a deeper level and are open to making meaningful changes in their lives. Many of my clients are part of the Hispanic community and value working with a therapist who understands their language, culture, and unique life experiences. They may be navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or the stress of major life transitions, and are looking for a safe, supportive space where they can feel heard without judgment. If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from the life you want, I’m here to guide you in finding balance, healing, and a renewed sense of purpose.
In our sessions, we will use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to explore how your thoughts influence your emotions and behaviors. Together, we’ll identify unhelpful thinking patterns and work on practical strategies to shift them. I will guide you through tools and exercises that you can apply in daily life to manage stress, improve your mood, and feel more in control of your experiences. CBT is an active, collaborative process designed to help you create lasting, positive change.
In my practice, I use an eclectic approach, which means I integrate techniques from different therapeutic models to best meet your individual needs. Together, we will explore what works best for you, combining strategies from evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and solution-focused techniques. This flexible and personalized style allows us to adapt the therapy process as you grow, ensuring you receive the right tools and support to achieve meaningful, lasting change. My goal is to create a collaborative and comfortable space where your unique experiences guide our work.
I also use a trauma-focused approach to create a safe and supportive space where you can process difficult experiences at your own pace. We will work together to understand how past trauma may be affecting your thoughts, emotions, and relationships today. Using evidence-based techniques, I will guide you in building healthy coping skills, managing triggers, and restoring a sense of control and safety in your life. My goal is to help you heal from the impact of trauma while fostering resilience, self-compassion, and lasting emotional well-being.
