Darlene M. Amin, M.A., LMHC has over 15 years of experience as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I work with adults and specialize in depression, anxiety, trauma, co-dependency, and addiction. I am also EMDR trained and have helped clients process early trauma, i.e. before language, childhood emotional neglect, anxiety, OCD and addictions. I am also certified in Mindfulness and Meditation practices, and I am an LGBTQ+ ally. I have a plethora of modalities and interventions to apply to your mental health or social concerns, including Integrative Mental Health (IMH) and I’m working toward certification. (IMH) is the understanding that mind, body, and spirit are interconnected and influence each other. Complimentary methods are explored to reduce symptoms and create a healthy lifestyle that will incorporate all aspects of wellness for a well-rounded life experience.
My career started as a classroom teacher and school counselor. I currently have over 20 years of experience working with students and families. In addition to my school counseling career, I am a crisis clinician in a major hospital in the DFW metroplex and work in over 32 emergency rooms providing on-call patient care. We all face unexpected challenges which sometimes leave us feeling hopeless and powerless. I believe that we have the ability to make healthy and appropriate choices regardless of the circumstances in which we may find ourselves. My role as a therapist is to assist and support clients as they learn new ways of coping and adjusting to life’s challenges. Counseling will vary depending upon one’s personality, stage of life, strengths or particular concern. Getting started can feel overwhelming. You have no idea where to even begin. You’ve been putting off therapy because you’re afraid it won’t help. More than anything you’d like to be able to feel happy again. You’d like to be able to put yourself out there more and to create deeper, more meaningful relationships with others. You want to have the courage to be your authentic self without hiding behind a mask.
I received my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. I have an extensive background in working with mental health and addictions. I approach therapy from an individualist, holistic, and integrative lens. I strive to provide a safe and confidential environment to assist in the counseling process. I help clients transform into a more authentic, healthy, and balanced version of themselves.
I’m dedicated to helping teens and adults navigate the complexities of anxiety, depression, life transition, trauma and family challenges. I take a holistic approach to therapy, integrating evidence-based techniques to support your journey toward healing and self-discovery.
I work with individuals who feel trapped by past experiences, struggling to set boundaries, or seeking clarity in their relationships. Whether you’re dealing with childhood wounds, toxic family dynamics, or the emotional toll of breaking free from unhealthy patterns, I provide a compassionate, structured space to help you process, heal, and move forward.
Welcome! I’m Jalisia, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a passion for helping people navigate life’s most difficult moments. If you’ve asked yourself this question, “Why does life feel like it’s one thing after another?” You might be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or drained. Maybe your self-esteem has taken a hit, and motivation feels hard to find. Life can throw curveballs, and when it does, it’s okay to need support. Seeking help isn’t a sign of weakness, it’s an act of courage and self-care. With the right guidance, you can come out stronger, more balanced, and more confident. My approach is person-centered, meaning you are in control of your healing journey. I offer a supportive, non-judgmental environment where you can safely explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Together, we’ll work toward clarity, self-awareness, and emotional growth, empowering you to make the changes you desire.
Hi, I’m Dan Hoefling (he/him), a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, trauma specialist, and the founder of New Chapter Mental Health Counseling. I provide active, collaborative virtual therapy for adults across New York, Florida, and Vermont who feel stuck in repetitive loops of anxiety, childhood trauma, or intense emotional triggers like anger. My clients often describe me as patient, deeply listening, and grounded, but I am not the kind of therapist who just nods along silently while you vent.
My approach is highly active and integrative, blending Internal Family Systems parts work with somatic, body-centered awareness and mindfulness tools. I believe that your current struggles, whether that looks like a harsh inner critic, an automatic defensive reaction, or a constant state of physical restlessness, are simply survival strategies that your system built to protect you. Outside of my clinical credentials as a Level 2 Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, my background in yoga and meditation heavily shapes how I work. I don't see you as a list of symptoms to be fixed, but as a whole person capable of deep resilience. Together, we work to safely step out of survival mode, replace self-blame with genuine curiosity, and help you author your next chapter.

Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Florida. I received my Masters from Florida Gulf Coast University and have been practicing for over 10 years. I see all adults, but in particular I focus on folks that are dealing with life changes such as struggling with a new or changing diagnosis, reclaiming your identity, grief, or depression and anxiety. I want you to know that the time we spend together is for YOU, so it will be focused on what you want to talk about. Therapy can be hard work but I'd like to make it easier on you. Let's work together!
The “traditional office” approach is not one that I use. We have the option of meeting in an outdoor environment, in places like the beach or a park, if you are within the Palm Beach County area. And there is always the option to meet in a virtual office setting though Telehealth. I believe therapy can and should have a place in our everyday lives. I am trained in CBT, ACT, Mindfulness and trauma informed approaches.

If you can read this, you made the first step. Congratulations. Seeking therapy is hard. Most people delay and tell themselves that whatever they are experiencing must be the way life is. Chances are if you have reached the point to begin exploring therapy, counseling can help make your life better. While therapy is often hard, it can be an enjoyable and uplifting experience as well. I believe that you cannot laugh without a combination of insight and relief. You can expect some humor in most sessions.
I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor for over 20 years. In that time I have worked with men, women, teens, and families on a wide variety of issues. Sometimes that work simply involved helping them through a particular incident or life change that overwhelmed them. Other times our work together centered around longstanding issues of depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction.
In addition to traditional cognitive behavioral therapy, I also offer a fourth-wave therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). I have found this technique to be highly effective in helping people with trauma and or anxiety. Our minds and bodies are connected. Anyone who has experienced a tight neck and shoulders or an upset stomach when they were stressed knows this. EFT uses acupressure (done by the client) and cognitive interventions to provide fast and effective relief.
With over 20 years of clinical experience, I am ready to help you through the challenges you are facing. In addition to counseling, I also provide vocational testing, coaching, and consulting.
I provide both Christian and secular counseling depending on the needs of my clients.
For clients with high level confidentiality concerns due to corporate or clearance issues, there are ways we can do EFT without you ever speaking out loud about events.

DeMarkus Grayson-Rhule has been practicing systemic therapy since 2019, utilizing this training in various contexts, such as crisis intervention and school-based care. My approach to therapy is a collaborative and solution-focused one, where we tackle the set goals together. I believe client's already have the tools necessary to confront their problems and that we tend to forget that. Thus it is my goal to help my clients figure out which tools to use when facing problems.
I do not believe in a "one size fits all" approach. While uncomfortable feelings might be a commonality (especially in today's world), I believe we are all individuals who learn, experience, and react to situations differently. One thing I know for sure, if everything was going "great" chances are you would not be reading this bio right now. BRAVO to you for taking this monumental step and investing in yourself!!!
Hi, I'm Masha Andreoni, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida with 14+ years of professional/educational experience and 49+ years of lived experience. A majority of my work experience has been spent working with Veterans and Active Duty Reservists focusing on post deployment issues, substance use/abuse, and military sexual trauma. Today, I work with individuals/groups/families within a multitude of populations.
Most importantly, I do not believe that individuals fit snuggly into a particular mental health "box." For example, if diagnosed with PTSD... there is a good chance that anxiety, depression, insomnia, relationship difficulties, work-related issues (etc.) may be present. If struggling with addictions...anxiety, depression insomnia, relationship difficulties, work-related issues (etc.) may be present (you get it). My focus/goal is to understand where you are coming from, what you hope to achieve, avoid making any particular judgements/labels, and work together as we embrace this journey of solution focused change and betterment.
While I can take the time to tell you how my approach is warm, motivating, understanding, open....in the end, this is for you to decide. I can however assure you that regardless of diplomas achieved, I never stop pursuing education in this ever-changing field/world. I am here to be of service. With me comes my personality, knowledge, humor (when appropriate), and respect! Truly looking forward to working with you.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I use dogs in my office while doing therapy. Please schedule telehealth or advise in advance if you are not comfortable in an office with animals. They do provide therapeutic support to clients and have been part of my practice for some time. I hold licenses in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida and specialty certification as a Certified Advanced Drug & Alcohol Counselor and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I am a firm believer in everything that happens creates the person. I am a whole life counselor and work with people to explore what it would take to move past the difficult times in life.
I take the time to get to know my clients and have many clients who have been with me for years. That doesn't mean someone will see me every week for the rest of their life. It means client know I am available when they have need. I do have clients who have seen me weekly for years not because they are dependent on me but because they have found benefit in processing their life regularly.
I have had a successful personal practice for years and can offer clients the space and reverence to unpack the most unpleasant things to reorder them in a way they no longer can cause harm as they once did. There is no perfect childhood and it is likely families do the best they can and it may not have filled the needs of their child.
I am happy to take as much time as needed to work through the problem as you understand it.

Hi, I’m Joe. I’ve worked in the mental health field for 27 years across substance use treatment, outpatient care, and hospital settings. I’ve supported individuals and families through crisis, transition, and long-term growth.
I work well with young adults, adults, and families who are navigating stress, trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, or major life changes. I also have extensive experience working with men who may struggle to express emotions directly and instead feel stuck in withdrawal, irritability, or self-doubt.
As a veteran, I understand the mindset and pressures that can come with military life. Across all of my work, I aim to provide a grounded, steady presence where honesty, insight, and meaningful change can take place.
First time in therapy? Or ready to make a real change? It can feel uncomfortable opening up to someone new—but you don’t have to have it all figured out to start. I work with teens, young adults, and millennials—especially men and people of color—who are navigating anxiety, life transitions, and past experiences that may still be impacting them. I focus on creating a space that feels real, supportive, and easy to step into, while helping you better understand yourself, your needs, and build the clarity and confidence to move forward.
Hi, I’m Melissa. I’m a mindfulness advocate who believes in meeting people where they are, especially when life feels complex or overwhelming. I’m dedicated to creating a safe and compassionate space where we can collaborate on meaningful goals and deepen your connection with yourself.
I specialize in working with trauma, relationships, and life transitions—including the profound moments of birth and death. Life can bring both beauty and challenges, and sometimes it can feel overwhelming to carry it all alone. Therapy offers a place to bring your whole self: your hopes, fears, emotions, and stories, so together we can explore what matters most to you and set meaningful goals.
I believe we all hold the answers within us, even if life’s struggles make them hard to hear. My role is to walk alongside you with empathy and trust, helping you reconnect with your inner wisdom and uncover a deeper sense of self. Whether you are navigating a specific challenge or seeking greater clarity and growth, you deserve support that honors your unique journey.
