About me

I’m Dr. Amanda Ashley Taylor, a Caribbean-American Licensed Mental Health Counselor and holistic psychotherapist. I guide adults and adolescents through anxiety, depression, burnout, and life transitions, helping you reconnect with yourself and create balance, clarity, and resilience. My approach blends narrative therapy with mindfulness and somatic awareness so you feel truly seen, supported, and understood. I hold space with empathy, cultural awareness, and compassion—honoring your unique story. Healing happens best in a safe, judgment-free environment, and my role is to walk beside you with clarity, tools, and gentle guidance so you can step into your next best self. You deserve peace, balance, and the freedom to be who you truly are—and I’m here to help you get there.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is a chance to land, breathe, and be heard. We’ll explore what’s bringing you in, define your goals, and map out what healing could look like for you. I’ll guide you through my holistic lifestyle assessment to highlight strengths and stress points. You’ll leave with clarity, practical tools, and the reassurance that you don’t have to navigate this journey alone. Together, we’ll uncover the areas of your lifestyle that support your mental health—and those that drain it.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach blends clinical training with holistic and spiritual practices. I draw from narrative therapy, mindfulness, trauma-informed care, and somatic awareness—integrating tools like guided reflection, breathwork, energy healing, daily routines and lifestyle strategies. Clients describe my style as grounding, compassionate, and transformative. I see the whole person—mind, body, spirit—and help clients realign with who they truly are. Many clients report feeling more peace, clarity, and empowerment within just a few sessions. As a master strategist with a mix of humor and compassion, my goal is simple: you leave every session better than when you arrived.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with deep feelers, high achievers, and those who carry a lot for others while navigating how to refill their own cup. Are you navigating burnout, life transitions, anxiety, identity disconnection, or neurodivergence (Autism/ADHD). Together, we build clarity, balance, and sustainable healing so you can live with more freedom, joy, and purpose. With experience spanning music, spirituality, entertainment, government, media, education, creative arts and medicine, I bring a broad, diverse perspective—I get it.
