As a solution-focused clinician, I am trained and certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I can teach you simple, effective stress-relieving techniques that complement talk therapy. My non-judgmental approach balances the need to listen and validate your experiences while also challenging you to address and resolve life barriers. I have 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, young adults and families struggling with a variety of challenges. My experience derives from my work within the fields of child services, outpatient services, schools, correctional facilities, and residential facilities. Some of the specialty areas I work with include: ADHD, Anger Management, Anxiety, Depression, Family Conflict, Interpersonal Relationships, Self Harm and Suicidal Ideations, Self Esteem and Trauma. Past and current clients have described my style as empathetic, authentic, warm, energetic and supportive, all with a touch of "tough love".
