Motivational Interviewing

As a Social Worker, it is important for me to meet the client/couple where they are at, allowing the client to lead by asking prompting questions, building rapport, and a trusting, inviting environment to work towards resolution of the problem. Delving into the underlying issues, identifying the why behind the problem and building effective coping skills to move forward in life.
