I believe therapy is most effective when it feels both supportive and collaborative. My goal is to provide a safe space where clients can process trauma, explore challenges, and build the skills they need to live more fully. I offer psychotherapy, therapeutic assessments, and specialized interventions designed to meet each client’s unique needs. Whether you are navigating life transitions, managing mental health concerns, or seeking greater clarity in your relationships, I aim to help you feel understood and empowered. As I often remind clients, our connection to the world is shaped by the people we engage with. Together, we can build on your existing strengths and experiences to create meaningful change and improve your quality of life. As an athlete, a family man, and a man of faith, I understand the challenges with adjusting to change associated with leaving a sport or career, you love, before you believe your time is up. I understand what it feels like to develop a bond and the challenges with sustaining such bonds. I also understand seeking growth spiritually when there’s so much temptation and triggers that seem to pull me away for my goals. With that, these experiences are what hopefully keep me humble, motivated, and grateful.
During our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other and creating a foundation for your therapeutic journey. You can expect a supportive space where you’ll feel heard and respected, with opportunities to share what brings you to therapy. My focus is on building a human connection first, so we can move forward with trust and understanding. Our first session will be an opportunity to learn and better determine direction.
I bring empathy, integrity, and passion to every session. My innovative and mindful approach helps me stay fully present with each client, ensuring that every step of the process is tailored to your needs. I believe that every interaction we have contributes meaningfully to your healing and growth. My greatest strength is resilience, especially since that is one of the only character traits that is something we all have the ability to earn.
I specialize in working with clients who are managing co-occurring disorders, mood dysregulation, depression, anxiety, panic disorders, substance use challenges, personality disorders, and unresolved trauma. I also have experience supporting clients with autism, psychosomatic concerns, self-harm behaviors, and chemical dependency. My goal is to meet you where you are and help you take steps toward healing and resilience. My ideal clients are those looking for change and/or clarity. My ideal clients are also those trying to improve, and/or further develop their skills, with the intent to improve the quality of their lives.

It seems like Mr Chris can always give me something to relate to what I am trying to tell him or a situation that I am going through. He's such an awesome therapist

Dr. O'Conner is great to work with. I have multiple issues happening simultaneously and finding it difficult know what to bring forward and fix and what to allow to fall behind and handle later he is great at assisting me in prioritizing what is really important to focus on and what I can keep as background noise. He is one of the best therapists I have ever had, and it has been at least a decade I have had someone assist in moving me forwaed

He listens. He does not forget what we talked about in previous session and helps me understand why things are the way they are.
