Hi, hello, howdy! Fancy seeing you here.
I suppose this is the part where I share if you'd be my "optimal client" but I would rather let you decide if you feel like I would be your “optimal" therapist.
My therapeutic focus is increasing awareness of environments and everyday situations, opening one’s perception of life choices, and intensifying feelings of empowerment and liberation in our work together. My ACT/Solution- Focused style is interactive and fun while honoring my client’s relationships, helping them discover what is truly needed from these relationships and inspiring them to live authentically.
I am a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 5 years of experience in providing mental health services. I am certified in Mental Health Nutrition via PESI, and have training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, as well as Trauma Focused-CBT.
I’ve had the privilege of working in community mental health (2 years), a group practice setting (2 years), and in a university health center (currently for over 1 year now) with a very wide variety of age ranges, presenting concerns, and communities. I feel that these experiences have given me a broad and rich overview of the human experience across the lifespan and have made me a better practitioner.
Currently, I am an LMFT at CSU Sacramento in their health & wellness center on-campus supporting college students with their mental health, and conducting telehealth private practice via Grow during the evenings Monday-Thursday.
In my free time I enjoy international travel with my Husband & going to live pop music concerts

Hello, I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I received my Masters from the University Antioch Los Angeles and have been practicing for 10 years. I help adults at different stages of life and transitions who are struggling with anxiety, self-esteem, and trauma to help nurture and restore a sense of balance. My approach to working with clients is centered around the individual as a whole - recognizing intrinsic uniqueness and reinforcing inner strength – supporting an individuals innate ability to grow and thrive.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California, with over 5 years of clinical experience supporting clients' mental health. I'm passionate about working with individuals who want to understand themselves on a deeper level, not just manage symptoms but shift the patterns underneath them. I work with adults navigating the emotional challenges that come from ADHD, anxiety, relationship stress, attachment wounds, or trauma. My role is to help you untangle what feels confusing, strengthen your sense of self, and move toward relationships and choices that feel secure and aligned.
You are brave and have the answers you need, but you may want help right now to “tune in” to those answers. Stress, overwhelm, and long-term patterns may be too much right now. Using a trauma-informed, client-centered and empathetic approach, I can help you confront and integrate painful experiences, addressing and healing the root along with the symptoms. I specialize in complex trauma, narcissistic abuse, relationship problems and the symptoms of anxiety, depression, and grief that can go along with these problems. I have been in the field of psychology either learning, researching, or providing services for almost 40 years. I have over a decade of experience providing trauma-informed educational services, mental/emotional health therapy, and grief counseling.
Being a therapist is a lifelong passion for me and is rooted in my dedication to supporting adults, children, families, and communities in building safety, resilience, and hope. My journey has taken me from my home county of Santa Cruz where I advocated and ran groups for youth living in situations including domestic violence from 2011-2013, to working as a shelter counselor in Oakland for youth 13-21 from 2016-2018. I worked in serving famillies with San Francisco Child and Family Services, where I partnered with families navigating reunification with their children while providing psychoeducation and crisis counseling during critical moments from 2018-2022. I have been licensed with my LCSW since May 2025 and focused my prior professional development around harm reduction and culturally focused treatment, aligning with my commitment to social justice and culturally responsive care.

Welcome! Taking the first step toward therapy is a powerful and courageous decision. You don’t need to have all the words or even know exactly where to begin—that’s what we uncover together. I offer a compassionate and grounded space where you can safely explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Vulnerability isn’t always easy, but I believe that when someone dares to step into that space, profound growth can happen.
Life can feel overwhelming at times, especially when you’re carrying challenges on your own. You may want support but hesitate out of fear of being misunderstood or judged. Therapy can be a space where you don’t have to hold everything together by yourself. I believe that every person’s story deserves to be heard with care and respect. I offer a warm, nonjudgmental space where your story is heard and your strengths are honored.
Couples: I am TAKING Couples again. However only on Cash Pay basis. This is how it will work: You can schedule with me an hour consultation, you don't both have to be present, for this Consultation. From there we will meet 5 to 6 times for 1.5 hour sessions. It is very difficult to have Couples sessions within 60 min. The Cash pay is $250.00 for the 1.5 hour sessions. I understand the cost can be a deterrent in seeking help, however if you are both committed to doing the work 5 to 6 sessions should be productive and enough to see changes.
Individuals: Of course I am still taking individuals that are or are not in a relationship and need help. We were never taught how to be in a relationship of any kind. Yes there are tons of books of how to, however to put them to practical use can be very difficult. This can also relate to a relationship with a family member, friends or co-workers.
Sometimes our own mental health can influence all of our relationships, and you may need coping techniques for anxiety and or depression type symptoms. I will work with you individually to help you gain insight to your own behavior that may be influencing your relationship.
I am here to help with coping strategies for anxiety and depression symptoms or learning how to communicate more effectively with others.

I help individuals/families process hardships in their lives and obtain the tools needed to become the best version of themselves. Looking for a therapist is a great first step towards change. As a provider, my greatest strengths lie in my deep empathy, active listening, and a commitment to mindful curiosity. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and I strive to create a safe, supportive space where your unique story can be truly heard and valued. Rather than simply diagnosing a problem, I listen for the 'hidden' stories of your strengths and values that often get overshadowed. My approach to active listening is about more than just understanding; it’s about standing alongside you to deconstruct the challenges you face and uncover the skills you already possess. Together, we will collaborate to rewrite the narratives that no longer serve you, fostering a therapeutic relationship built on trust, respect, and the reclamation of your personal agency.

I earned my Masters in Counseling from The University of San Francisco's Sacramento satellite campus in 2012.
My approach to therapy begins with establishing a genuine connection with each client and how their challenges are impacting them. I establish this by providing a warm, open, and authentic environment.
I enjoy working with people facing a variety of challenges. This includes those experiencing anxiety, depression, those going through life stressors/transitions, and those feeling "stuck" in their lives.
As a licensed therapist in California, I specialize in supporting individuals navigating complex emotional landscapes. My practice centers on empowering clients through challenges related to depression, anxiety, life transitions, and self-esteem. I bring a compassionate, culturally informed approach that honors diverse experiences, particularly within immigrant and LGBTQ+ communities.
My therapeutic work focuses on helping clients explore self-love, address social anxiety, process difficult emotions like guilt and shame, and develop meaningful strategies for personal growth. I'm committed to creating a supportive, affirming space where individuals can explore their identities, relationships, and life purpose.
Drawing from evidence-based practices, I support clients through a wide range of experiences—from workplace stress and relationship dynamics to personal transformation and healing from past challenges. My approach is collaborative, respectful, and tailored to each individual's unique journey.

Hi, I'm Jason Markel, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 9 years of experience helping adults navigate anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, trauma, and struggles with self-worth.
Many of the people I work with have spent years taking care of others, second-guessing themselves, or trying to meet expectations that don't truly fit who they are. They often feel exhausted, disconnected, or stuck repeating patterns that no longer serve them. Therapy can be a place to reconnect with yourself, understand what's holding you back, and begin creating a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in genuine human connection. I believe lasting change happens when people feel safe enough to explore difficult experiences without judgment. Together, we'll work to build self-trust, strengthen boundaries, improve relationships, and help you move toward the life you want rather than the life you feel obligated to live.
Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, identity questions, or major life transitions, my goal is to help you feel more confident, connected, and empowered in your daily life.

I work with clients in a caring and compassionate manner, and I tailor the treatment to fit their needs and goals. I became a therapist because I want to help people who are struggling to change their lives. You are the most important part of your treatment - it needs to relate to your life in a way that works for you. I am Brandy Stewart, a licensed clinical social worker in California with 19 years of clinical experience serving children, adolescents, transition age youth, adults and families. I help individuals who struggle with managing relationship issues resolve interpersonal conflicts to promote healthy overall functioning. I also help people manage emotional distress and conflict, as they heal from the past, in order to achieve a greater wellbeing.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I work with adults (no couples) and children who feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or disconnected from themselves. You may be doing everything you can to keep going—showing up for work or school, caring for others, and managing daily life—while quietly carrying anxiety, sadness, anger, or deep exhaustion. Sometimes your reactions feel bigger than expected. Sometimes life just doesn’t feel like it used to.
I specialize in trauma-informed care and understand that these experiences are not signs of weakness. They are often signs that your mind and body have been working hard to cope. I believe healing happens when you feel safe, understood, and supported at your own pace.
In our work together, I offer a calm and steady presence. Therapy with me is not about pushing you to “just move on” or forcing change before you’re ready. It’s about slowing down, listening to what your mind and body are holding, and creating space for relief and clarity. My role is to walk alongside you as you regain a sense of stability and reconnect with the part of you that holds resilience, strength, and the capacity for joy—even if that feels far away right now.
For over 10 years, my work spanned from court advocacy to case management for immigrant and underserved communities in Los Angeles. I work with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, beliefs, sexual orientations, and value systems, and I approach therapy as a collaborative partnership where we work together to reduce distress and build resilience. As an immigrant and Latina professional, I bring both personal understanding and professional insight to my work.
I have worked in private practice and the school systems providing Educationally Related Mental Health Services (ERMHS) for almost 25 years. During this time I founded a small business where my team and I provide these mental health services individually and in groups on-site to school districts all over Sonoma County, CA. I love working with children k-12 and their families. I have worked in non-public schools, public schools, and privately with at-risk youth and their families. Hello, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist (LMFT) in the state of California. University of California, Berkeley (UCB) for the AB in English and University of San Francisco (USF) in Counseling. Because of my personal experiences with having seizures when I was younger, I now concentrate on addressing the emotions and hopes and dreams of people who are dealing with the multiple, and often times consuming, issues of having a seizure disorder as well as any combination of realities and histories that equal the seizure experience. Please let me know if I can bring a more balanced picture to your life and those who you value and love in your life as well.

I integrate EMDR, somatic therapy, and nervous system-based approaches to help you process difficult experiences and shift patterns that no longer serve you. Rather than just talking about problems, we’ll gently work with both your thoughts and your body’s responses so you can experience lasting change, not just temporary relief.
