My desire is to help you live a full life, to listen openly and without bias and to understand you outside of your problems; to help you see that you have strengths and resources that will help you get through this difficult time or the challenges you face. My goal is to help you feel hopeful again. As a couple's therapist, (I also am a collaborative divorce therapist, divorce mediator, divorce coach, and parenting coordinator, and work to create parenting plans) my goal is to help the couple heal or learn how to move forward in a positive manner. One of my passion's are women's issues, including peri- and post-partum, loss, infertility, and grief.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I really enjoy hearing a couple's, family's and an individual's stories and their unique life experiences. I do my best to ensure that each person is comfortable as meeting someone new and sharing intimate details can be scary. I treat people the way I want to be treated. My hope is to help you live a full, beautiful life, to listen openly and without bias and to understand you outside of your problems; to help you see that you have strengths and resources that will help you get through this difficult time. My goal is to help you feel hopeful again, whether facing divorce/loss, grief, relational or occupational issues, or mental health issues such as depression and anxiety.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I love people, I love their stories, and my greatest strengths are compassion, empathy, authenticity, and honesty. I truly enjoy helping others to re-discover themselves and their relationships.

My treatment methods

Couples Counseling

As a couples counselor, we work to re-discover your relationship, uncover any communication issues, and address the effects of life transitions.

Attachment-based

People have experiences that can lead to struggling with anxious or avoidant behaviors and by using an attachment-based model to heal from these experiences, we work together to become a securely attached person.

Christian Counseling

For Christians who would like to focus on a biblical based healing, I offer Christian counseling, prayer, and re-discovery of faith.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is a well-known model used to help with behavior change. It can be used with adults and children.

EMDR

EMDR is a well-known trauma treatment model, it has been used to treat trauma and trauma responses. I use an online version of it and my clients have had amazing outcomes.
