Hello, my name is David Fallon and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have been licensed for about 20 years. I've worked with all kinds of individuals. I started by working with kids with behavior issues. Mostly I have worked with serious mental illness on the streets serving unhoused individuals. And I have worked with people seeking help in a one on one therapy situation. The first session will be for us to get to know each other and see if this is a good fit. I will be asking a lot of questions. Feel free to ask me any questions that come up as well. I will tell you a little bit about how I work. In the early stages, I basically follow your lead. You tell me what you want to work on, and I ask questions to understand the problem. Together we figure out ways of dealing with these problems. Sometimes it takes more than one or two or even a dozen tries to find the right things that work for you. This process is a journey, and I am here to help guide you through it. I can make recommendations, but it is up to you what you want to do and what works for you. Sometimes difficult thoughts are feelings will come up. Do not be afraid to express them when they do as the more genuine and honest you are, the more I will understand what you are dealing with. That being said, always take things at your own pace. Never feel rushed or forced to say anything you are not ready to say.

Life can feel overwhelming when past experiences continue to show up as anxiety, stress, or emotional exhaustion. You may notice patterns that don’t make sense, feel stuck in survival mode, or carry a heaviness you can’t quite name. Therapy offers a space to slow down, understand what’s beneath the surface, and begin responding to life with more clarity and self-compassion. You don’t have to navigate difficult seasons alone—healing is possible, and support can make the path forward feel more steady and manageable. I also work in afternoons and evenings to ensure everyone gets a chance to be seen.

Hello, I was born and raised in Stockton, California. I enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps at the age of 17 and in 1997, after 25 yeas of service, I retired from the Marine Corps as a Master Sergeant. After retiring from the Marine Corps, I worked as a Farrier (Horseshoer), as well as a structural welder (Ironworker), as those were the most marketable skill that I had. I came to a point where old injuries came back to haunt me and I could no longer walk (several years later, thanks to a surgery through the VA, I can walk again; thankful for that). At this point, I changed professions and out of a desire to work with veterans, I returned to school, accomplishing all that was necessary to become a licensed counselor. I spent another career working for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically as a counselor in the Readjustment Counseling Service (Vet Center). I recently retired from the Vet Center and now I work part-time here with Grow Therapy. As a retired Marine senior staff Non-Commissioned Officer (SNCO) and disabled combat veteran myself, the Vet Center was the perfect job. Vet Centers provide readjustment counseling to combat veterans and provide counseling to survivors of military sexual trauma (MST). Vet Centers also provide group counseling, bereavement counseling and couples counseling when this is determined to be of support to the veteran. Readjustment counseling many times consists of treating/addressing symptoms related to post-traumatic stress (PTSD), I.e., anxiety, depression, exaggerated startle response, hypervigilance, sleep disturbance, etc. Many veterans go on to work as first responders and working with many first responders as well as medical personal, has provided me with a great deal of additional experience.

I am a psychodynamically oriented therapist who integrates attachment-based, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), mindfulness-based approaches, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support clients in understanding themselves more deeply and creating meaningful change. I am, also, always working on and open to learning new therapies to best help my clients! My work is grounded in the belief that many emotional struggles—such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties—are connected to early relational experiences and the patterns we develop to cope, protect ourselves, and connect with others. In therapy, I help clients explore these patterns with curiosity and compassion, while also building practical tools to manage distress in the present. I offer a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where you can slow down, reflect, and make sense of your emotional world. I also pay close attention to what unfolds in the therapeutic relationship, as it can provide important insight and opportunities for healing and growth. Depending on your needs, our work may include exploring past experiences, identifying emotional and relational patterns, strengthening awareness of thoughts and feelings, and learning skills to support regulation and coping. My goal is to help you develop greater clarity, emotional balance, and more secure and fulfilling relationships—with yourself and others. Therapy with me is a space for both insight and change. Together, we work toward helping you feel more grounded, connected, and able to move through life with greater confidence and ease.

Over human history, people have mostly lived in close-knit communities. This has eroded with the advances in transportation and technology. Most people have lost much of the social support our forebearers enjoyed. Mental Health Professionals have taken on this role in their respective communities and are an excellent resource for you to realize your strengths and improve your well-being. When your car breaks down you take it to a mechanic. When your tooth hurts you see a dentist. When your mental health can use a “tune-up,” see a Mental Health Professional!

Hi there, I'm Denise. Do you feel anxious, worried, or depressed and overwhelmed with your life? Are you struggling to feel happy? Do you feel past trauma is affecting your ability to heal? Is it hard to be kind to yourself or to tell yourself that you are doing all that you can? Together, we can build a safe place so that we can find what's not working for you and get you back to a place where your mind, body, and spirit feel at ease. All of this comes from a strength based, trauma informed, culturally informed perspective where we will identify your strengths and your plan to help yourself heal. I'm here to help and understand that seeking therapy can feel overwhelming and scary but you're making the right choice. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. Welcome to Dr. Mitchell’s Safe and Brave Space I began my career in social services in 1995, working with children, youth, and families often labeled as “at-risk”—many of whom were impacted by substance use, poverty, child abuse, and neglect. Over time, my commitment to equity and justice led me to the field of social work, where I continue to center the person-in-environment perspective and actively support antiracist policies, ideas, and actions. This work is grounded in an acknowledgment that we live and practice on the stolen lands of Indigenous peoples, and that much of the wealth and infrastructure of this nation was built through the unpaid labor and enduring suffering of enslaved Africans. I honor these histories and their ongoing impact as part of my commitment to justice, healing, and collective liberation. I am deeply committed to self-awareness and reflective practice, both personally and with those I serve. I walk alongside clients on a healing journey rooted in self-care, resilience, and transformation. I integrate narrative therapy and other evidence-informed approaches through the lens of intersectionality to remain fully person-centered. My practice pays particular attention to the impacts of trauma and race-based stress on one’s inner world. As appropriate, I incorporate Feminist Theory, Queer Theory, and Liberation Psychology to support healing that honors identity, lived experience, and systemic context. I welcome all who value peace, healing, and justice to join me in this space—to try, to grow, and to be.

I am a dedicated and highly emphatic therapist. My style is Eclectic therapy because it allows me to utilize multiple theoretical orientations and techniques. I have been exposed to different cultures, and I am grateful that I was able to connect with a diverse population from around the world. -------- Mi lengua Materna es Español y soy bilingüe (Ingles - español). Mi pais de nacimiento es Nicaragua y he vivido en California por mas de 40 años. I believe that each person is unique and their experiences and needs are also unique and that’s why I use the technique that will fit the moment and the need. I am very flexible and will explain what and why I am utilizing the approach at the moment. I believe that patients already bring the answers or solutions within and my job is to help them identify their strengths and to work through their weaknesses. I have been working in the mental health field for twenty years. My personal experiences have made me the person I am today and also helped me to connect with people’s experiences. I believe in what I do because I know that people can change their circumstances all they need is willingness and a conscious personal awareness. My strengths are adults male/female (relational, self-esteem, domestic abuse, family issues, vocational, work problems/stress, couples, PTSD, trauma)., anxiety, panic attacks, trauma - PTSD. I was born in Nicaragua and have been living in California for the past 40+ years. I connect and understand the immigrant first/second generation culture and the struggles they may face. I am fluent/bilingual in English/Spanish.

Hello...Most of my work is Brief Emotional Therapy, 4-7 sessions, although I do have folks that have been with me for longer. I work with issues of anxiety and depression as well as relationship issues and problems with emotional intimacy, both with ourselves and others. Much of my work involves moving towards your most meaningful or valued life while accepting the pain /anxiety that inevitably comes with it I'm here to facilitate your journey on whatever you are experiencing or going through without judgment or attitude. I help manage the depressions or anxieties that come with life, cope with a crisis, or move into the growth and evolvement that are ours to have. I practice tele-therapy daily. If you see an open slot you are welcome to take it without any advance notice. Thank you, Dr. Robert Lusson

Welcome, I am so glad that you are here! Do you struggle with self-doubt, low self-esteem, low motivation to complete tasks, or find it difficult to make decisions? Are you struggling to get a good night's sleep or do your thoughts keep you awake? Are you at a crossroads in life and want to understand the path ahead of you? Together we will develop strategies of coping in an emotionally safe and positive space and will begin to understand the why- Why I am overwhelmed. Why do I feel the way that I feel? Why do I continue to repeat the same cycles? I strongly believe in the power of people and understand that change and life transitions can be challenging and very scary. I believe every moment in our day is an opportunity to do things differently. To learn and to grow. I love what I do, and I am honored to be able to step into your life and help. I pride myself on creating safe spaces that encourage change on your terms.
