It is not always easy to reach out for help, but you are on the right path. Things will get better as we approach your struggles and goals together. I have any easy going straight forward approach to therapy as I work to meet each client’s unique needs. I have been a therapist for over 30 years and have worked with clients on a myriad of issues including anxiety, depression, postpartum depression, perinatal loss and other women’s issues. My work has also included working with folks on life transitions whether it be family or career related, as these can create much stress for people. I have worked in Connecticut, Florida and Texas, both as a clinical leader and practicing clinician. I am currently licensed in Connecticut, California and Texas. My training was at the Columbia School of Social Work where I received my masters degree. I truly look forward to the opportunity of working together and hope we will talk soon. You are not alone.
Clients can expect to receive help in a non-judgmental and supportive environment. We will build a treatment plan together to help you reach your goals.
Having worked with several clients on the Newborn Special Care Unit/Maternal High Risk for my first 6 years out of school, I have a unique understanding related to perinatal issues including grief and loss.
Clients experiencing anxiety, depression and life transition or career transition issues. Clients typically have goals of garnering new coping skills and/or setting goals for the next phase of their life. Typically, it is difficult for people to reach out for help, and I believe I am especially equipped to help this population make the transition into therapy, having been in the field for over 35 years.
