Welcome and thank you for visiting my profile. I invite you to join me for safe, relaxing, and confidential virtual therapy appointments. I am a dedicated and experienced LMFT with a successful track record of delivering impactful and effective therapy services for people (children, families, individuals, couples) from diverse and underserved populations. I am trauma-informed and an empathetic therapist that is known for providing genuine patient care.
I am a compassionate therapist with the ability to connect and relate to individuals from different cultures and backgrounds. During the first session, I will review the therapy process, and I will ask questions to help me get to know you. I will also listen to your concerns and answer questions so that I can meet you where you are mentally and emotionally.
I have extensive experience providing support, guidance, and behavioral health services to individuals with disabilities, and to children and their families that have experienced trauma.
Clients appreciate my humanistic, strength-based, and solution focused approaches for improving their overall well-being. I have experience with Mindfulness and a variety of therapeutic modalities (CBT, DBT, EFT, ACT) that are developmentally appropriate and in alignment with individual client needs. I am best positioned to serve individuals that are ready to learn and grow through the therapeutic process. My goal is to listen, support, and guide individuals so that they can heal and free themselves from the life stressors that are having a negative impact on their daily life.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT as a structured, action-oriented and time-limited approach that teaches individuals to identify and change their unhelpful thinking, patterns, emotions, and behaviors. I help individuals replace their negative thoughts and feelings with positive thoughts and feelings to support their overall well-being.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use this therapy method to help clients learn to manage intense emotions, reduce harmful behaviors, and to improve relations.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
I use this therapy method to help families to strengthen their emotional bonds and to create secure attachments.
Humanistic
I use this client-centered talk therapy method to help individuals to focus on their inherent goodness, free will, and their potential for self-actualization.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I use this therapy method to combine mindfulness meditation with cognitive therapy principals to help decrease mental health symptoms like anxiety, depression, stress, and PTSD.
