Sienna Counseling is a client-centered counseling practice focused on helping teens and adults in the Houston area navigate everyday life challenges. Empowering you with practical tools to help you (re)discover yourself. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, and together, we will explore your unique situation to find the solutions best suited to you. Only you hold the answers inside to what you want in your future. I can help you find the key to unlock your inner wisdom. I’m here for you, when you’re ready to take the next step.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, you can expect to talk a lot. This is your opportunity to tell me all about you and what has brought you to therapy. I'll ask you a range of questions to help me get a good understanding of your situation and then we'll begin to formulate a plan to help you reach your goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My clients tell me they feel comfortable talking with me, didn't realize they had so much to talk about, gain insight into what's keeping them from being happy, and learn skills to live a healthier, happier life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Our thoughts influence how we feel, and negative thought loops make us feel worse. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy helps you understand your thoughts from a different perspective and actively choose healthier thought patterns.

Strength-Based

I believe you already have many of the answers inside and together we’ll tap into the very best aspects of you.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I believe therapy should be about you and that you are the expert in your life and what is best for you.

Motivational Interviewing

Sometimes we think we're ready to make a change in our life, but we keep repeating the same behavior over and over. Motivational interviewing can help us figure out how ready we really are to make a change.
