What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session just try to relax and realize that I am here to help you with anything you want to discuss. We will get to know each other a little better and then we can focus on whatever issues or anything that comes to your mind that you need to discuss in therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my practice because it can help with a range of mental health issues. I also use CBT with other therapies as it teaches one coping skills for dealing with different problems. When I use CBT I focus on your thoughts, beliefs and attitudes that affect your feelings and actions. I also use CBT for substance-abuse, multiple medical issues such as chronic illness and many others issues that may arise in your life for the overall health and well being.

Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy

Using the methods of Rational Emotive Therapy can change one's thoughts and feelings by disputing irrational beliefs about oneself which in essence can modify or change behavior to the desired results for a more fulfulling, satisfying life.
