Hi! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Texas. I specialize in a narrative, solution focused, cognitive behavioral therapy to gently help you to uncover your strengths, rewriting life's narratives and moving toward a positive path forward. I know that times can bring rocky challenges and life is not always linear and sometimes that can make you feel tough on yourself. I will help you to find the positive change that can redirect you on your path.

My first session is a warm welcome to meet you and provide an overview of the work we will being doing together during your therapy journey. We will look at what brings you to therapy and what you hope to get out of your sessions during our time together. We will begin to look at your story and help you start your journey to a healthier you.

I believe in holistic growth. My goal is to provide support to help you grow within your thinking and emotions so that you feel your best and at peace. I come from a compassionate, non-judgemental space. I believe in helping you to uncover your own strengths and insights for lasting change.

I am looking to help clients uncover a better understanding of their inner world through exploring their thinking and emotions and what it means to change and be vulnerable with themselves and others. I help explore life's narratives, relationships, career and personal growth and overcome barriers to change.

Mind-body approach

The mind and body work in synchronicity to each other. A healthy body will influence a healthy mind. I help clients to explore healthy habits to improve their mental well being.

Motivational Interviewing

I focus on the stages of change pre-contemplation, contemplation, preparation, action and maintenance and elicit the change process with clients through identifying what motivates them and provides meaning in their life.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I assist clients to identify thoughts and behaviors that are getting in the way of their happiness and to identify alternatives and more positive ways of thinking This in turn helps them to turn to to these alternative meaning that empower them.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I explore observing rather than pushing away stressors and cultivating curiosity of the positive, negative and even neutral thoughts and feelings that circulate in the mind. I focus on mindfulness that can be incorporated through breathing, movement and during every day moments.

Narrative

I help clients see problems as separate from their identity. We process where these problems originated in belief systems and identifying alternative narratives that can be supported and developed.
