About me

Hi, I’m Erica. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas with over 18 years of experience supporting individuals and families through life’s challenges. My background includes work in private practice, nonprofits, schools, and large healthcare systems, giving me a broad perspective on the many ways stress and life transitions can impact us. Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply needing a safe space where they can be heard without judgment. I specialize in helping people manage stress, whether it shows up in relationships, parenting, work, or major life changes. My goal is to provide a supportive, collaborative environment where you can explore what’s going on, build healthier coping strategies, and move toward greater balance and clarity.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, my main goal is to help you feel comfortable and heard. We’ll start by talking about what’s bringing you to therapy right now, and I’ll ask some gentle questions to get a sense of your background and what life has been like for you recently. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—this is simply a chance for us to begin building trust and understanding. As we continue meeting, we’ll work together to explore what feels most important to you and find practical, supportive strategies to help you move forward. My approach is always client-centered, which means I’ll tailor our time to your needs and pace. Along the way, I’ll offer tools and insights that can support your growth, self-awareness, and overall well-being.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I truly enjoy helping people overcome stressful situations, especially as it relates to relationships and parenting. As a parent of a neurodivergent child and with extensive experience supporting neurodiverse individuals and families, I offer a compassionate, informed perspective that addresses unique needs and fosters meaningful growth.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who feels overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, relationship difficulties, or the weight of life transitions. You might be feeling stuck, struggling to manage stress, or simply in need of someone to listen without judgment.

Just had my first session with Erica. She had great points for how to approach the issues we discussed. She was very solution oriented. I felt like she was very present during our session and listened to what I had to say. I can't wait for our next sessions together!
