I am a licensed professional counselor, and I offer confidential counseling services for teens, adults, families, and couples of all diversities, orientations, and backgrounds. I provide a comfortable, genuinely safe, non-judgmental environment where we work as a team to help you understand the context of your struggles and establish an appropriate therapy for your circumstances. I draw from a variety of therapeutic models including client-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, existential therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy. Whether you struggle with relationships, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, assertiveness, or any other concerns, know that together we will strengthen your mental well-being allowing you to express your individual uniqueness with confidence and help you live a more productive and satisfying life.
After our first session, clients can expect that they have been listened to and understood well working together to create a therapeutic alliance. Clients will be able to see the big picture of their current situation and how the following session may unfold. Counselor and client will begin to develop a game plan on how we will continue and how positive mental health will be restored.
My treatment methods are typically Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but I also use motivational interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral therapy, and Person Centered therapy.
My specialties are helping others to gain better mental clarity and understanding of how current predicaments attribute to overall mental health well-being Clients can expect an experience that is dedicated towards a better understanding of your current situation. Clients can expect to have someone to partner with to develop strategies and goals which assist in leading to better mental health and clarity.
I am best positioned to serve adults and couples who are seeking meaningful change in their emotional well-being, relationships, and overall quality of life. I work well with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions, particularly those who may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from their sense of purpose. Many of my clients come in with a desire to better understand themselves, manage intrusive thoughts, regulate emotions, and develop healthier coping strategies. In couples and marital counseling, I support partners who are experiencing communication breakdowns, conflict, trust issues, or emotional distance. This includes couples working through infidelity, recurring arguments, or feeling unheard and misunderstood. I help partners rebuild trust, improve communication, and develop a stronger emotional connection, whether they are in crisis or simply wanting to strengthen an already stable relationship. I am especially effective with clients who are open to self-reflection and willing to engage in the therapeutic process, even if they are unsure where to start. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and goal-oriented, helping clients identify patterns, build insight, and take practical steps toward lasting change. Whether working with individuals or couples, I aim to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their experiences and move toward healthier, more fulfilling lives.
