My name is Donna, and I have been licensed and providing therapy for 40 years. I am a Christian, but provide therapy to non-Christians, as well. I am nondenominational. I have a pug, Layla, who keeps me company. I have my Masters degree from the University of Louisville, and received the Dean's Citation. I am a therapist as I enjoy helping people get through their issues and being the best they can be.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
We usually take time so I can get to know you and your goals for therapy. We then explore what lead to your problems. I will start making a plan to help you cope with your problems and improve your life.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
I am nonjudgemental, empathetic, understanding, intuitive, and a good listener. I also care about each of my clients, and pray that God shows me how to help them.

Christian Counseling
I have been a Christian and provided Christian Counseling throughout my career. I also had four years of Christian education. I use the Bible to help Christians understand how God can improve their lives.
Couples Counseling
My specialty in graduate school was Family Systems Therapy. I help couples explore their past and their issues so they can improve their relationships through better communication and spending time together.
Reality Therapy
I help clients recognize how their behavior is affecting their lives, while helping them understand the reality of their situations, and how to improve their lives.
