Life is a journey best told by the author. My story has been told under the title of a therapist, wife, mom, daughter, volunteer, and even a Girl Scout leader. All those titles have given me life experiences that have helped craft a pretty amazing story. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 9 years of therapeutic work experience. My clinical expertise in helping clients with stress, anxiety, depression, trauma/abuse, foster care/adoption, and parenting issues. Knowing that you are the expert author of your story, I am here to help guide you along your journey by growing your strengths, relationships, and resources to assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Thank you for your courage to sign up for therapy and for allowing me to get to know your story.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Working with parents and families is one of my best specialties. Sometimes pre-teens and teenagers do not feel heard, or parents struggle to find common ground or understanding. These cases are my specialty because whether I am working with the kids or the parents, finding a solution or teaching a family coping skills to help ease the strain on the family is one of my biggest passions in life.

I've had five sessions with Cortnie now and I hope I'll be with her for a long time. I've had a LOT of experiences in mental healthcare system and Cortnie is top tier! She is warm, understanding, down to earth, and so kind - and she has lots of practical ideas too. She makes me feel safe and like she has my back.
