I'm so glad that this website has led you to this profile so I can say CONGRATS on taking the first step towards mental health counseling. I am a LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) in the Commonwealth of Virginia trained in EMDR. I have been in this field for 10 years. I have provided therapy in a variety of settings that include community health centers, juvenile detentions, county jail, and private practice, and currently work as a full-time crisis clinician for a community service board. Through these settings, I have had the opportunity to treat many conditions like ADHD, ODD, many personality disorders, PTSD, Major Depression Disorder, Anxiety, Bipolar and addiction. I believe that everyone has a story and believe that everyone has the right to tell that story, their worries, desires, and goals in a supportive, unbiased environment. I am always honored when a client chooses me to be the therapist to guide and support them through their mental health journey. The best part about mental health concerns/addiction is that recovery exists. You are the driver to that recovery and you are at the beginning of that road.
