I am a compassionate and dedicated therapist who believes that meaningful change begins with feeling heard, understood, and supported. I provide a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients can safely explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences while working toward their personal goals. My approach is collaborative and tailored to each individual's unique needs, integrating evidence-based therapies such as Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and EMDR. I enjoy helping adolescents and adults navigate anxiety, trauma, PTSD, substance use concerns, life transitions, and relationship challenges. Clients often describe me as approachable, genuine, and easy to talk to. I believe in meeting people where they are, recognizing their strengths, and helping them build the skills and insight needed to create lasting change and a more fulfilling life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, trusting therapeutic relationship. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, the challenges you're facing, and what you hope to gain from the counseling process. There is no pressure to share everything at once, and you're welcome to move at a pace that feels right for you. During our time together, I'll ask questions to better understand your history, current concerns, strengths, and goals. I'll also explain how therapy works, answer any questions you may have, and discuss potential treatment approaches that may be helpful for your situation. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, respected, and understood. Many people feel nervous about starting therapy, and that's completely normal. You don't need to have all the answers or know exactly where to begin. My role is to help guide the process, support you through challenges, and work collaboratively with you toward meaningful and lasting change.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring warmth, authenticity, and a genuine commitment to helping clients feel understood and supported. My therapeutic style balances compassion with accountability; I create a safe space where clients can openly explore their experiences while also encouraging growth and meaningful change. I believe that healing happens through a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, empathy, and honest conversation. In sessions, I tend to meet clients where they are, offering attentive listening and holding space when they need support, validation, or time to process difficult emotions. At the same time, I am not afraid to gently challenge unhelpful patterns, self-defeating beliefs, or behaviors that may be preventing progress. My goal is not simply to help clients feel better in the moment, but to help them develop greater self-awareness, resilience, and lasting change. My experience working with individuals facing anxiety, trauma, PTSD, substance use concerns, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions has taught me that every person's journey is unique. I approach therapy with curiosity, respect, and flexibility, tailoring treatment to each client's needs rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach. Clients can expect a therapist who is engaged, collaborative, and invested in helping them achieve their goals while feeling supported throughout the process.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are adolescents and adults who are motivated to improve their emotional well-being and develop healthier ways of coping with life's challenges. They may be struggling with anxiety, trauma, PTSD, stress, depression, relationship difficulties, substance use concerns, life transitions, or self-esteem issues. Many are seeking relief from distressing symptoms, a better understanding of themselves, and greater emotional balance. These clients are generally open to self-exploration and willing to engage in the therapeutic process, even if they feel uncertain or overwhelmed at times. They value a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where they can openly discuss their experiences and work toward meaningful change. Their goals often include reducing symptoms, improving relationships, processing difficult life events, developing healthier coping skills, increasing self-confidence, and creating a more fulfilling and balanced life. Through a collaborative therapeutic relationship, they are committed to personal growth and building resilience for long-term well-being.
