I’m a national board-certified and multi-state Licensed Professional Counselor with a doctorate in psychology and over 20 years of experience supporting adults through anxiety, trauma, grief, and life transitions. I believe therapy should be a safe, collaborative space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to grow.
My approach is warm, nonjudgmental, and grounded in the belief that everyone has the capacity to heal and thrive. I use evidence-based treatment methods tailored to each client’s needs, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, mindfulness, solution-focused techniques, and person-centered therapy. When requested, I integrate Christian faith into therapy to support healing, provide spiritual perspective, and align emotional work with personal values.
I work well with clients who are ready to explore emotional patterns, past experiences, or stressors that may be keeping them stuck. Whether you’re overwhelmed by anxiety, processing trauma, grieving a loss, or seeking deeper self-understanding, I aim to meet you where you are and walk with you at a pace that feels right.
My clinical work is informed by ongoing professional development, national conference training, and active membership in the American Counseling Association, the American Psychological Association, and The National Society of Leadership and Success.
I strive to offer a thoughtful, affirming space where you can build insight, resilience, and a grounded sense of self. Therapy with me is a partnership — one that honors your voice, your goals, and your capacity for meaningful change.
Hello! I am a licensed marriage and family therapist based in North Carolina! My experience ranges across several settings including as a therapist in a psychiatric residential treatment facility, outpatient therapist, and at a private practice. I work with teens, individual adults, and couples assisting them with navigating through various issues. I look forward to meeting and collaborating with you!
First of all, I love what I do and to witness the positive changes clients make in their lives as a result of choosing therapy to help them accomplish what they want. Often the goal is to achieve symptom relief so as to not be overwhelmed by anxiety, mood disorders or be better able to manage the challenges of ADHD. Sometimes there is not a specific outcome identified but a need for ongoing support for dealing with life transitions or difficult people. Sometimes clients use therapy as a confidential sounding board where they can talk to an objective outsider about situations and sort out their perspective. I offer various ways to see and respond to situations that might otherwise not be considered. Your opinion as a client is the most important one and I will also honestly provide mine when asked for. I believe therapy can actually be something that you can look forward to and an opportunity to learn new skills to use long after you discontinue, and we can even have some fun and laughs along the journey.
Looking through these many profiles can be difficult and draining. Thanks for being here. If you are struggling with sleep and unable to control your worries, or feeling anxious and as if your stress never eases up, I hope we connect. Overthinking tomorrow and replaying yesterday can be exhausting for any of us and can honestly feel like where we live in our minds. Anxiety steals valuable time from us and can cause incredible distress. Depression also robs us of time, and if you live with grief and loss, the pain may feel overwhelming and never ending. I serve individuals in Wisconsin, North Carolina, and Virginia and have many years of experience working with clients suffering with anxiety, many of whom have endured trauma, loss, and live with grief. I enjoy assisting all adults and have worked with many wonderful individuals in addressing life challenges, changes, and transitions. I know it can be especially difficult and uncomfortable to reach out and ask for help when you are already overwhelmed with a situation. I will always strive to provide a safe space for you to talk about whatever concerns are important to you. Some concerns are very private. I respect this and offer a supportive environment which is always free from judgement. I appreciate your time and hope you find who you need in these profiles.

Chinelo Okpalobi is a Licensed Mental Health Therapist with over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families.
Let's celebrate this first win of many, deciding to embark on your therapy journey. I'm here to be your teammate, but most importantly, your accountability partner. I take a client-centered, collaborative approach to therapy, tailoring each session to your unique needs and goals.
There isn't a manual on how to start; once you feel ready, I'm here to guide you through conversation. I’m here to provide a safe and supportive environment where you can be yourself and learn more about yourself.
I’m a husband and dad to three boys (ages 16, 13 and 8), and family is a huge part of my life. We live on a 20-acre homestead where we raise chickens, goats, pigs, and cows, and we spend a lot of time in the garden. Life on the farm keeps me grounded and reminds me daily of the value of patience, hard work, and slowing down to enjoy what really matters. Faith and community are also central for me. I’m actively involved in my church, and I see my work as an extension of that calling to walk alongside others.
I’ve always had an entrepreneurial streak. Alongside my therapy work, I am starting a tech start-up, I’ve run an online store, and I even dabble in Bitcoin mining. I enjoy the challenge of building things from the ground up and thinking outside the box. I also read a lot, and my libertarian leanings have been shaped by writers like Murray Rothbard. The conservative/libertarian focus on freedom, personal responsibility and low time preference connects deeply with how I approach life and therapy: we’re at our best when we are free to live with responsibility in society, own our choices, and pursue truth apart from coercion.
When it comes to therapy itself, I integrate my faith with practical, proven methods. I use Christian Counseling, CBT, Reality Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and the Gottman Method to help people grow emotionally, spiritually, and relationally. My goal is to give you a space where your values are respected, your faith is honored, and you feel equipped to face life’s challenges with hope and clarity.
If you’re looking for a therapist who understands the importance of faith, family, freedom, and practical tools for change, I’d love to walk with you on your journey.

Hi, I’m Tehseen, and I’m so glad you are here. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 8 years of experience supporting children, teens, and adults through life’s challenges. I provide compassionate, trauma-informed, and evidence-based therapy for those navigating anxiety, depression, panic, chronic stress, burnout, and major life transitions. I believe every person’s story deserves to be heard and honored, and I strive to create a warm, non-judgmental space where you feel safe to explore your experiences. My approach is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs, integrating modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you untangle unhelpful patterns, build resilience, and develop practical tools for lasting change. Together, we’ll work to strengthen your self-awareness, enhance your coping skills, and empower you to move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and well-being.
