Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session (intake) is a change for us to get to know each other and begin building a safe, supportive space. I'll ask questions about your current concerns, personal history, and what you hope to gain from therapy. This helps me understand your needs and determine how best to support you. You're welcome to share at your own pace-there's no pressure to tell your whole story right away. We'll also talk about confidentiality, answer any questions you have, and start identifying goals together. Most importantly, the first session is about starting a connection rooted in trust, empathy, and collaboration.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths are strong interpersonal and relational skills, especially empathy, warmth and authenticity and active listening. A combination of my theoretical knowledge and therapeutic approaches help clients reach their personal therapy goals. I strongly believe in a client's capacity for healing and change. Balancing challenge and support, I will gently push when needed but always from a place of care and respect.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I specialize in working with individuals who may be experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, PTSD, relationship challenges, and borderline personality disorder. Grounded in empathy and strong clinical insight, I integrate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, and strength-based care. I tailor my work to meet each client's unique needs, focusing on strengths, resilience, and collaborative goal-setting. With a flexible, reflective approach and deep respect for the therapeutic relationship, I strive to empower clients to navigate challenges, build emotional insight, and foster long-term healing.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize CBT to help clients identify and change unhelpful thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors that contribute to their emotional distress or difficulties. During sessions, we will work collaboratively to identify thinking patterns and how they affect emotions and behaviors. Together, we will challenge and reframe unhelpful thoughts and develop coping strategies and problem-solving skills to manage concerns.

Strength-Based

By using strength-based focus, I help clients recognize, build on, and apply their personal strengths, resources, and resilience to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
