I am a therapist who provides a steady, supportive space for clients to understand themselves, heal old patterns, and move forward with clarity. My work is shaped by a deep respect for each person’s history and the ways early experiences continue to influence present‑day relationships, self‑esteem, and decision‑making. I help clients explore those roots with compassion and curiosity, not judgment. I bring a warm, grounded presence to therapy. Clients often come to me because they are high‑functioning but carrying a great deal internally. Many have spent years being the responsible one, the caretaker, or the person others rely on. In our work together, they finally have room to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with parts of themselves that have been overlooked or protected for a long time. My approach balances emotional insight with practical tools. I help clients rebuild hope and direction after periods of stress or disappointment, strengthen their confidence and sense of identity, and develop healthier patterns of connection and communication. I value structure, consistency, and a therapeutic relationship that feels collaborative and respectful. I also support clients through transitions — moments when they are redefining themselves, making difficult choices, or working toward meaningful change. I help them build momentum without losing their sense of balance or boundaries. My goal is always to empower clients with skills they can use outside of therapy, creating real, sustainable progress. At my core, I am committed to helping people feel understood, supported, and capable of building lives that reflect their values, strengths, and emotional needs.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first couple of sessions are used for your intake. This involves me getting to know you, including your background, symptoms, behaviors, challenges, strengths, supports, therapy goals, and processing any concerns you may have. During the initial intake session, my main goal is to build a strong rapport and therapeutic alliance with you by allowing you to express yourself and to help you feel heard, validated, understood, and supported. This process also involves completing and reviewing assessments together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My therapeutic approach is humanistic, holistic, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, intersectional, and affirming. This means that I view each client as a whole individual, considering emotional, physical, mental, and social well-being rather than focusing only on symptoms. From a humanistic and person-centered perspective, I believe that people have an innate capacity for growth and healing when they feel genuinely understood and accepted. My role is to provide a nonjudgmental, empathetic, and collaborative space where you can explore your experiences, gain self-awareness, and develop tools for change at your own pace. A trauma-informed approach guides how I ensure emotional safety in therapy. I recognize how overwhelming experiences can affect the nervous system, relationships, and sense of self. I work gently, prioritizing trust, choice, and empowerment so that clients can process painful memories or patterns without feeling retraumatized. As a holistic therapist, I integrate mindfulness, grounding, and practical coping skills to support balance in both mind and body. My greatest strengths are compassion, empathy, creativity, and the ability to listen deeply between the lines. I empower through encouragement, planning, helping clients with problem-solving, and teaching them to use their strengths. I help clients feel seen, valued, and supported while offering realistic perspectives and collaboration. My goal is to help each person move toward clarity, confidence, and lasting emotional well-being.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone standing at a turning point in their life — a person who knows something needs to change, even if they can’t yet articulate what that change should be. They are reflective, intelligent, and self-aware, but they’ve reached a point where insight alone isn’t enough. They’re ready for clarity, accountability, and a more grounded sense of direction. They tend to be high‑functioning and responsible, often carrying significant personal or professional roles. On the outside, they appear composed and capable; internally, they may feel overwhelmed, uncertain, or disconnected from themselves. They want stability, structure, and emotional steadiness, but they’re also navigating deeper questions about identity, purpose, and what truly matters to them. This client values depth. They think before they speak, notice subtleties, and often sense more than they express. They appreciate a therapist who can meet them at that level — someone who understands nuance, unspoken dynamics, and the complexity of their inner world. They are also someone who wants healthier, more reciprocal relationships. They’re tired of carrying the emotional weight or being the dependable one without receiving the same level of support. They want connection that feels balanced, honest, and emotionally safe. At the same time, they may struggle with uncertainty, self‑doubt, or difficulty trusting their own judgment. They can get lost in possibilities, overthinking, or second‑guessing themselves. They need a therapist who can help them sort through confusion, reduce emotional noise, and make decisions with confidence. Ultimately, this is someone who is ready for clarity, grounded guidance, and a therapeutic relationship that helps them step into a more stable, aligned, and self‑directed version of their life.
