My goal as a therapist is to empower my clients by showing them how to utilize coping skills and techniques that they will learn over the course of treatment. What I want the clients to take away from sessions with me is that they have a therapist who is an advocate for their well-being, and who will show them the skills to control the symptoms they are experiencing. My name is Elizabeth and I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the states of Texas and Arizona. I am also a certified school counselor and transitioned to full-time mental health counseling after working as a high school counselor. I have been working as a counselor for 10 years, primarily in the school setting. I helped my students with issues such as family problems, academic struggles, relationship issues, trauma/abuse, ADHD, autism, depression, anxiety, perfectionism, grief, and suicidal ideation. Before working as a counselor, I was an elementary teacher for 6 years. I have experience working with adults and adolescents. I love seeing my clients understand themselves better and improve their mental health. I feel comfortable counseling people from a variety of backgrounds, especially those whose backgrounds are different than my own. My entire professional career has been spent with a primarily Hispanic population, but I am comfortable with other cultures, as well. I am a big fan of CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and Solutions-focused therapy, but I try to cater my counseling to each client, so I often incorporate different counseling philosophies as needed. I believe my clients are the experts on their own lives and I want to work with them to improve their contentment, coping skills, and mental health. I believe it is important and beneficial to have a nonjudgmental, unbiased person to talk to. This is one of the best parts of counseling. I often use humor to lighten the mood when counseling. I find this helps grow my relationships with my clients. Congratulations on making the first step towards getting help. I would love to work with you.

Life is complicated. Acknowledging that you may need some assistance is the first step, asking for help is the second. Whatever your struggle, I will listen. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling & happier life & to take the first steps toward change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support & empower YOU! Not every individual has experienced trauma, yet every human has experienced some type of fear. My goal is to help my clients understand how the “Fear Response” drives our body’s chemical reactions in situations, learn how our conscious and unconscious thoughts are related to fear, and assist individuals to comprehend the importance of how and why their thoughts and actions are connected. This new awareness creates a foundation for each individual to become more empowered to create change as he or she learns new skills to improve actions, reactions, and thoughts. Let 30 years of professional & personal experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, specializing in Trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, ADHD, relationship & parenting issues help you find a Better path to a Better YOU! Together, we will discuss how to best address your issues using a holistic approach. As a Trauma Informed provider, a combined, nuanced approach that best meets YOUR needs includes; Client Centered, Cognitive/Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, with Supportive, Mindfulness, Solution Focused techniques; which are also influenced by the Internal Family Systems to tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet YOUR unique & specific needs. More importantly, YOU will be assessing me. It is extremely important to ensure that YOU feel SAFE with YOUR therapist. Your safety with your therapist is the foundation of your treatment success. Greetings, As a clinical psychologist with 33 years of experience, I am prepared to help you address common psychological struggles. By guiding you to identify triggers and maladaptive behaviors, we can develop coping strategies to alleviate symptoms of anxiety and depression. If there are underlying trauma issues, I have extensive experience working with those situations as well. Additionally, I have helped many clients struggling with behavioral medicine issues such as stress management, smoking cessation, and substance use. Once coping skills are in place to enhance functioning and help you feel a greater sense of control, we can explore your personal history and underlying factors which contribute to your difficulties, if desired. At regular intervals, we will evaluate your need and preference for ongoing therapy. Thus, treatment will be tailored for a limited problem-focused approach or an in-depth approach as warranted. I believe that a collaborative effort in therapy leads to the best outcome. You may be asked to track thoughts and behaviors for review in the sessions. Completing homework assignments are an important component of treatment. I look forward to being with you on your wellness and recovery journey. I have entered a limited number of appointment slots on the calendar; however, if you are interested please contact me to discuss other availability.

Former active duty Navy, I am very passionate about a sound philosophy of unity that can bring people closer to their goals. Since we are not born with an instruction manual it is important to better understand who we are and how we operate. You can only use something so far as you are familiar with it and not an inch further and this is the truth for your strengths and weaknesses. I would love to help others better understand this process and see how much good can be produced when we learn to overcome our weaknesses with our strengths.

Hello, I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in the states of Texas and Tennessee with 30 years of counseling and ministry experience. I began as a minister of the Gospel in the Southern Baptist tradition in 1993 working with the homeless to overcome the struggles of addiction and hopelessness in North Carolina and Tennessee. From there, I became a case manager in a rural oupatient behavioral health clinic helping the chronically mentally ill live independently outside of the institutional settings. As my family of five children grew, my wife encouraged me to join the military in 2007 and for the next 13 years we served alongside our Soldiers and their Families as a chaplain. There, I learned through experience how to work through the stress of multiple transitions, the unyeilding demands for time and energy, and the unjust nature of toxic environments. I learned how to support those who wanted to strengthen themselves and their relationships in these environments and to ultimately be at peace with who they are and who they want to be. As I have matured in my training and become licensed in marriage and family therapy, I have found that I now specialize in using Solution Focused therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help individuals identify their strengths and the beliefs that are guiding their behavior. With this knowledge, people can begin to choose who they want to be.

Hi, my name is Mark. Thank you for considering me as your therapist. It would be my pleasure to get to work with you! I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist; that means that not only do I work with individuals who experience all kinds of mental health challenges, but I also specialize in systemic, or relational therapy - working with couples, families & groups. I am a Presidential Member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. If you want your faith included in your therapy, please let me know; your sessions will be as "spiritual" as you'd like, and no more. I have been providing therapy and counseling since 2016, and most recently worked as the therapy manager for a clinic that has four locations. Though I have worked with all populations (youngest 5 years old and oldest 94), young kids have trouble sitting still in front of a camera. Children under the age of 15 would be better served in an office setting, in my opinion. I have been with my amazing wife for over 35 years now, and have two wonderful adult children. I enjoy sports, music and all kinds of "outdoorzie" stuff. I most of all just enjoy time with my family. Most of my clients profess to sincerely enjoy working with me; I tend to connect with my clients on a deeper level, and in a more meaningful way, than some other therapists. Many say that they or their children work better with me than any other therapist, counselor or doctor they've experienced. I am humbled and immensely grateful for their kind words. I offer my clients a soft place to fall in their hurts and struggles while providing them a firm place to stand in their healing and growth. Always, in a judgment-free way.
