Beginning therapy is a courageous step, and I’m here to support you with warmth, empathy, and cultural sensitivity every step of the way. During our intake session, we’ll take time to get to know one another in a safe, nonjudgmental space. You’ll be invited to share what’s bringing you to therapy at your own pace, and I’ll ask thoughtful questions to better understand your unique story, values, background, and goals. Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, trauma, or simply seeking greater self-understanding, my aim is to create a safe and comfortable environment where you feel seen, heard, and empowered. Together, we’ll begin building a foundation of trust and clarity to guide your path forward.
I specialize in adults ( 18 and over) and I take pride in my ability to be flexible and adaptable to my client’s personalities, culture and communication styles as well as having a non-judgmental, empathetic, and “down-to-earth” approach along with a good sense of humor. It will be my pleasure and honor to help you in your wellness journey and help you to find the peace, joy and the fulfilling life that you deserve.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
As a therapist with more than 15 years of experience, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) because it provides clients with practical tools to identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. I have found that CBT empowers clients to recognize the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and actions, and helps them build healthier coping skills. Its structured, goal-oriented approach allows clients to see progress in both the short term and long term, which makes it especially effective for issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and anger management. Over the years, I’ve seen how CBT helps clients gain insight, strengthen self-control, and create lasting change in their daily lives.
Culturally Sensitive Therapy
I use culturally sensitive therapy and interventions because I believe that each client’s cultural background, values, and experiences are essential to their healing process. Culture influences how people view themselves, express emotions, and cope with challenges. By honoring and integrating these perspectives into therapy, I can build trust, reduce barriers, and ensure that interventions feel relevant, respectful, and effective for each individual. This approach empowers clients to use both their personal and cultural strengths in creating meaningful and lasting change.

With it only being the first session, I can't really say too much, but what I can say is she is pretty spot on and knows what she is talking about. I look forward to seeing her again to help me heal and grow into a better person
