I am a Licensed Therapist with five years of experience helping clients navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful change. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, Psychodynamic techniques, and Motivational Interviewing—to meet each client’s unique needs.
My work is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and the belief that every person has the capacity for growth. Whether you’re seeking to manage anxiety or depression, heal from past experiences, improve relationships, or gain clarity in your life, I provide a supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to take the next steps toward your goals.
My name is J.P. De Oliveira Estevão, and I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (L.P.C.C.). I provide a supportive, collaborative space where clients can explore challenges, build insight, and work toward meaningful change. I use proven methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Humanistic approaches, and Adlerian ideas to customize treatment just for you. My goal is to help you understand yourself better, find ways to cope with challenges and build a happier life.
Hi, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 40 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges and find a greater sense of balance and fulfillment. My career has taken me through many roles—serving on community mental health boards, directing psychiatric residential programs, and leading clinical teams—all with one goal: to support people in living fuller, healthier, and more connected lives.
Since stepping back from full-time leadership roles, I’ve shifted my focus to what I value most—working directly with clients through my online therapy practice. I specialize in supporting young and middle-aged adults, couples, and parents who are facing life transitions, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, addictive habits, or a sense of feeling stuck.
My approach combines the practical tools of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with a deeper exploration of the emotional and mental blocks that may be holding you back. I believe healing and growth happen when we align mind, body, and spirit—restoring a sense of inner harmony that allows you to live with more clarity, purpose, and peace.
Therapy is a journey, and you don’t have to take it alone. If you’re ready to begin creating positive changes in your life, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. Feel free to explore my website and see how we might work together.
I am a skilled and empathetic counselor with over 18 years of experience. I work with a wide variety of clients from the very young to the very experienced. My clients are people who have been struggling, often through many failed attempts, to get their life back on the path they want. I help my clients find their own, unique way to overcome the challenges they are facing be it depression, anxiety, relationship issues, or unexpected changes in life circumstances. I help my clients find their footing and forge their own path towards the future they choose.
I believe in not just giving ok treatment, but the best available. That’s why I love matching your needs with the best type of therapy that’s also backed up with research to definitely be able to help you. With that, you’re still the expert on you and your life, so you bring your experiences and I’ll bring my knowledge, and together we can figure out how to help you figure out how to get exactly what you’re wanting in life.
I specialize in working with anxieties, depression, trauma, as well as with teens and parents. I’ve worked with kids most of my life in one form or another doing therapy, mentoring, and teaching English abroad. Whatever is bothering you I’m here to help. LGBTQ friendly.
Whatever it is, let me help you, and if there’s something I don’t have the proper expertise in then I also have no problem admitting that and directing you to someone who can help so that you don’t have to waste your time.

Hi! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and I graduated from Amberton University. I have been impacting lives for over 20 years. My desire is to assist all adults (21 and above) with support and personal growth. Together, I work with clients to create a healthy and safe environment that allows them to explore the many obstacles and concerns they are facing.
I am a seasoned counselor familiar with adolescents, issues of personal development, empowerment, issues about personal power, overcoming fear, and identifying values. I value honesty, courage, self-actualization and altruism. I have worked almost exclusively with males. I see the world from a male perspective because that's the point of view I have experienced life through. I have spent years in the gym. I am a musician, and I play out somewhere every week.
There are a few high-stakes, difficult life situations I want to address here: If you are afraid of your child setting a fire, trying to get a gun, or stealing from you in plain sight, reach out. If your child is being bullied, I might be able to help him to acquire the skills necessary to hold his own in life. Finally, if you or a family member is being stalked or threatened by someone, I may be able to professionally assess the danger.

That puts you in control, you have the ability to change the way you think, and when you change the way you think, you change your life.
The thoughts you are thinking right now are writing the story of your life. If you are not happy with the story, you can reprogram your thoughts to change the story and write it the way you want it to go. Together you and I can work to manage the challenges you are facing today.
Therapy may seem scary or even overwhelming, but with the right partner you really can change your life. Together we will explore how your thoughts and the dimensions of wellness are affecting your life and find a path to change the story of your life, to one of positive emotional and mental well-being.
My name is Noe Rios and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I received my Masters in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling with a focus on mental health, and have been practicing 9 years with combined experience in mental health and substance use problems. My therapeutic style is direct and pragmatic, a blend of CBT and solution-focused work – it emphasizes building insight into how life circumstances may be contributing to the way that you’re feeling, taking a practical approach to solving problems, and exploring alternate perspectives that may be more helpful. I’m also a Christian and believe that faith can play a significant role in healing and moving forward, but I leave this to the discretion of the client.
I’m Joshua Robinson, a licensed therapist dedicated to helping children and adults navigate the complexities of anxiety, depression, life transition, and family challenges. I take a holistic approach to therapy, integrating evidence-based techniques to support your journey toward healing and self-discovery.
I work with individuals who feel trapped by past experiences, struggling to set boundaries, or seeking clarity in their relationships. Whether you’re dealing with childhood wounds, toxic family dynamics, or the emotional toll of breaking free from unhealthy patterns, I provide a compassionate, structured space to help you process, heal, and move forward.
At the Child & Adult Behavior Center, we help both adults and children, as well as parents.
For adults, we help you find ways to cope with stress, anxiety, loss and depression. Not only talking through and understanding, but also concrete "what to do about it" coping skills, lead to calmer, more stable emotions and relationships. We find cognitive behavioral therapy very useful, and within that, learning the skills of mindfulness, a form of in-the-moment meditative thinking, to calm and focus the mind when emotions overtake. This fosters a new way of viewing and handling stressful situations as they arise.
For children's therapy, we work with you, and with your child. Parents' feedback is a critical part of helping children feel and do better. We help you with parent-child interactions to find your way as you navigate the seas of child behavior. Our specializations are the treatment for Aspergers/autism, ADHD, Oppositional Defiance, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, emotional self regulation, the behavioral and emotional aspects of sensory issues, anxiety and depression. Our special programs also treat a wide range of neuroatypical, developmentally challenged children. Neuro-typical parent-child relationships, family relations, and parenting issues for all children and teens are also our focus. We help - you help your child - with ideas and techniques to put into action. Ideas that can greatly reduce the stress and storm of being a parent in the trenches. Peace in the home is possible!

Hi, I’m Abel. I know firsthand how ADHD can shape your life — not just in focus and productivity, but in emotions, confidence, and relationships. I was diagnosed in my 30s, and it helped me make sense of years of struggles with organization, responsibilities, and executive functioning. But what surprised me most was how profoundly ADHD impacts relationships, especially marriage. That’s why I believe therapy for ADHD has to go beyond productivity — it has to address how ADHD affects the people you love most.
As a husband of 13 years, a father, and a family man, I understand the quiet pressures many men carry. I also know how relationships require vulnerability, balance, and teamwork. My wife and I work hard at our own marriage, especially in navigating ADHD together. That lived experience shapes the way I support couples and men in therapy: with honesty, compassion, and strategies that work in the real world.
I’ve also wrestled with body image and self-worth challenges after years of being overweight. Through hard work, I reached a healthy weight and learned firsthand how self-care directly strengthens self-worth. This experience fuels my commitment to helping clients build healthier, more grounded relationships with themselves.
Hello, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPCS) based in Texas. I have a Doctorate in Counselor Education from Sam Houston State University and have been practicing for about 15 years. In my practice, I prefer to use different interventions to help in the process of healing while focusing on individual choice. I believe in taking a collaborative approach to helping clients reach their goals.
I work with clients who want to improve the way they experience life. The desire for better relationships with themselves and with others, and to gain a sense of purpose and meaning. I’ve always been interested in what drives people and believe that we can usually discover what is best for ourselves if we slow down, take the time to think things through, talk about it with a person we trust, and express the feelings we have in healthy ways—even the negative ones we may try to avoid. I use a number of therapeutic modalities in my practice, which connect thoughts to feelings and feelings to thoughts, enabling my clients to change and grow in the positive direction that they might envision for themselves. I work with clients who have struggled with addiction, anger, anxiety, depression, relationship separation, internal conflict and conflict with others, grief and loss, and other transitions and adjustment issues. I have completed Gottman trainings, as well as Emotion-Focused Therapy, which offers a structured approach and an emotional map for couples or individuals to learn how successful couples make their relationships last and how to handle conflict in a way that prevents damage to the relationship and helps them feel better connected to their partner. I am also trained in EMDR, a therapy designed to help a person unlock their nervous system to recover from trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and other problems that can take hold.
Good day! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Doctor of Marriage and Family Therapy based in South Florida. Much of how we see and engage with the world stems from the experiences we have in our families. These experiences range from rich and rewarding to trying and traumatic. Although I provide general mental health services to all, my areas of specialty are couples and families working to improve their relationships.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey and Texas. When life feels heavy, therapy should do more than help you cope. It should help you understand why you feel stuck, why the same patterns keep returning, and how real healing can begin.
I work with individuals facing anxiety, stress, emotional pain, burnout, and the quiet exhaustion of carrying too much for too long. Many of the people I work with are dependable and capable, yet inwardly they feel overwhelmed, drained, disconnected, or alone in what they carry. Therapy can be a place to slow down, gain clarity, and begin moving forward with greater freedom and intention.
My approach is warm, direct, and grounded in CBT and IFS. I help clients uncover the deeper thoughts, emotional wounds, inner conflicts, and survival patterns beneath their distress, while also building practical tools for healthier coping and lasting change. I value insight, but I also care about progress that can be felt in daily life and relationships.
With nearly 20 years of pastoral counseling experience, I also offer faith integration when desired. If you are tired of carrying everything alone, I offer a grounded, compassionate space where deeper healing and meaningful change can begin.
I am passionate about helping people navigate the challenges of PTSD, depression, anxiety, and addiction. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside clients in community mental health centers, academic medical settings, and private practice, supporting them as they heal, grow, and discover what’s possible for their lives.
I am also deeply passionate about teaching and sharing knowledge—I’ve taught college courses on addiction treatment and have led trainings for other therapists on how to provide effective, compassionate care. I earned my graduate degree from the University of Chicago.
When I’m not in session, you’ll often find me enjoying a good book, trying out a new recipe, or enjoying quiet moments with my spouse and our two cats.

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in depression, quick to anger, or frustrated in your relationships — you’re not alone. Many of the people I work with feel like something just isn’t working, but they can’t quite explain why. Often, these struggles come from early experiences where emotions were ignored, dismissed, or too much for the adults around us to handle.
As children, we learn fast: if expressing emotions doesn’t feel safe or accepted, we push them down. Over time, that emotional disconnection can turn into anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, or anger that feels hard to control.
My work focuses on helping you understand where these patterns come from and how to shift them. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety that won’t quiet down, depression that feels heavy, anger that shows up too fast, or relationship challenges that keep repeating — we’ll work together to untangle the deeper story and build healthier ways of coping, connecting, and feeling.
This isn’t just about managing symptoms — it’s about helping you reconnect with the parts of yourself that have been shut down for too long.
If you’re tired of feeling stuck in anxiety, depression, anger, or shame, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to stay there. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who helps people get to the root of what’s holding them back and build practical tools that actually work to break the exhausting cycle.
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially when life already feels heavy. I strive to offer a calm, supportive environment where clients can slow down, be heard, and begin making sense of their experiences. Together, we work to understand patterns, build coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Have you ever felt shame, depression, hopelessness, a feeling of being lost, grief, and/or unsettling emotions stemming from unprocessed trauma? My clients come to me to help create the best versions of themselves, to process trauma related symptoms, to find motivation to take action on their values and goals, as well as to overcome the many stressors and traumas that life can bring. I strongly encourage you to reach out so that I can assist you with your journey towards wellness. I believe in creating a judgment-free zone within the counseling process, through the help of acceptance, empathy, genuineness, and unconditional positive regard. I specialize in trauma counseling, addiction counseling, and grief/loss counseling. In my practice, I use a humanistic approach to build a therapeutic relationship, that is integrated with Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
I believe that every person possesses the ability to overcome and persevere through life’s stressors and challenges. I became a counselor to help assist people in finding hope, courage, and motivation to act on their life goals. I love helping people get unstuck, helping people find light in their darkest days, and I love meeting people from diverse cultures and unique walks of life. Trust, Empathy, and unconditional Acceptance are how I would describe my therapeutic philosophy. I have professional training in using EMDR Therapy to help clients process their trauma, reduce their anxiety related symptoms, reduce their symptoms of depression, as well as overcoming various addictive behaviors. Please reach out to me so that I can assist you in your next step towards healing.

Hello, I’m Dennis Alvarez, PsyD.
I believe counseling should both encourage and thoughtfully challenge individuals to move toward their fullest potential by addressing the mental, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of their lives. I hold a Doctorate in Psychology and a post-graduate diploma in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and I am a licensed psychotherapist with experience across hospital, treatment, and private-practice settings.
Throughout my career, I have provided individual and group therapy as well as comprehensive psychological assessments to adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relational distress, substance-use concerns, and life-transition stressors. My clinical background includes work in hospitals, substance-use treatment programs, and outpatient private practice, where I integrate evidence-based approaches within a holistic, person-centered framework.
I am also the author of When Heaven Was Silent: Integrating Psychology and Theology in the Garden of Gethsemane, which explores the experience of mental suffering through both clinical and historical perspectives. My doctoral dissertation focused on trauma and psychological adaptation, further shaping my approach to helping individuals understand their internal patterns, build resilience, and restore a sense of meaning and purpose.
In my work with clients, I emphasize helping people understand how and why certain thoughts, emotions, and behavioral patterns develop, particularly in the context of anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance-use histories. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment while also encouraging insight, personal responsibility, and growth. My goal is to help you move toward a more grounded, authentic, and meaningful life.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist nearing 20 years’ experience, I work with a foundation of Solution Focus and Systemic Therapy. I’m often looking for "the funny" in the moment and the world around me. I greatly enjoy sarcasm, snark, and satire. I'm fairly casual but have been told I "Clean up well", and clients have told me in the past they appreciate that I do not come across as "stuffy".
I'm often daydreaming of going on cruises with my wife and occasionally think about bringing our children as well. I treasure a long nap in a hammock, and I love movie. Once upon a time I even submitted a short film to the Cannes Film Festival (wasn't selected) but I did enter. Prior to being a therapist, I found myself listening and caring, as people would end up just talking to me and telling me their life story. I decided I should put that to good use. Additionally, growing up my family was fortunate to be able to adopt and quickly we became a larger family that could not remember when my sister was not part of the family. Through the process, I realized how important family and relationships.
I appreciate and look forward to the chance to help others get through the rough patches, when life hits hard. When the answer is not easily found, we take time to look at all the options and find something, at least one step towards better. We're not looking for perfection, just looking for progress, a little bit here and there.
As a former football coach, I have developed an approach to therapy that will allow me to utilize coaching concepts to address the needs of my clients. It encompasses a direct approach to address problems with the a level of understanding and empathy that will support a change in behavior. This works well with my CBT background. Therefore I have branded myself as The Therapy Coach. Which means that I am more than just a therapist to my clients.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado and Texas and a Licensed Addiction Counselor in Colorado I have made the commitment to help others as they face adversity so as to develop a loving and compassionate relationship with themselves. I bring a wealth of experience and specialized training in addictions and mental health to my practice and there is one common theme I have noticed throughout my career, which is our self-talk. We are our own worst enemies, and this wreaks havoc on our self-esteem.

Since becoming a counselor, I have worked in a variety of community counseling settings. I have worked with clients from ages 3 through 80 and with individuals, couples, and families. With that breadth of experience, very little shocks or surprises me and I have gotten a pretty good sense of where the types of counseling that play to my strengths as a counselor overlap with the types of counseling that are helpful for my clients. This sense (along with learning about lots and lots of research into what helps people find and maintain mental health) has led to the following guiding principles that shape all the counseling I do:
1) The client is always in charge. I know a lot of things but you will always be the one who decides what you want to get out of counseling, how we work towards that goal, whether or not what we’re doing seems to be working, and when we’re done.
2) Change and health happen through relationships. No matter what you come in for, there are always relational implications of change and relational factors that contribute to whatever it is that you came to counseling to change.
3) Counseling should be efficient. Counseling has significant costs in time and money. I think the benefits far outweigh the costs but if I can give you the benefits while helping you save on the costs then I want to do that.

Hi, my name is Ofori Asante, and I am a licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas. I specialize in helping others figure out the causes of their frustrations, anger, anxiety and lack of resources in dealing with their problems. I worked as a mental health technician in a behavioral hospital and a refugee resettlement agency after my first degree. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I have also earned a master’s in counseling and Sociology from East Texas A&M University – Commerce. I have been a licensed professional counselor for the past 17 years and my clinical background includes work with college students, children, adolescents, couples and families. I am a nationally certified counselor and a member of the Texas Counseling Association (TCA). I have vast experience working with those who suffer from chronic mental illness including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, and anxiety. I also have a wealth of experience working with those struggling with self-esteem, phobias, self-worth, poor relationships, and grief. I was the Truax Scholarship recipient in 2005 and the outstanding master’s level student in the department of Counseling East Texas A&M University -Commerce in 2003 and 2005 year. I am a counselor supervisor for the state of Texas when it comes to license professional counseling training from 2010 to present. Hello, I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in the states of Texas and Tennessee with 30 years of counseling and ministry experience. I began as a minister of the Gospel in the Southern Baptist tradition in 1993 working with the homeless to overcome the struggles of addiction and hopelessness in North Carolina and Tennessee. From there, I became a case manager in a rural oupatient behavioral health clinic helping the chronically mentally ill live independently outside of the institutional settings. As my family of five children grew, my wife encouraged me to join the military in 2007 and for the next 13 years we served alongside our Soldiers and their Families as a chaplain. There, I learned through experience how to work through the stress of multiple transitions, the unyeilding demands for time and energy, and the unjust nature of toxic environments. I learned how to support those who wanted to strengthen themselves and their relationships in these environments and to ultimately be at peace with who they are and who they want to be.
As I have matured in my training and become licensed in marriage and family therapy, I have found that I now specialize in using Solution Focused therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help individuals identify their strengths and the beliefs that are guiding their behavior. With this knowledge, people can begin to choose who they want to be.
