New to Grow
As a therapist, I strive to create a supportive, authentic, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to openly explore their thoughts, emotions, and life experiences. I believe therapy works best when clients feel genuinely heard, respected, and understood, and I value building strong therapeutic relationships based on trust, empathy, and collaboration. My approach is compassionate, client-centered, and adaptable to each individual’s unique needs and goals. I understand that every person comes into therapy with different experiences, strengths, and challenges, so I aim to meet clients where they are while helping them build practical tools for growth and healing. I incorporate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered techniques to support clients in developing insight, emotional regulation, healthier coping skills, and confidence in themselves. I enjoy working with young adults and adults who may be navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, identity exploration, relationship difficulties, or feelings of being overwhelmed or stuck. My goal is not only to help clients manage current struggles but also to empower them to better understand themselves, strengthen resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives. Above all, I want clients to feel that therapy is a space where they can be themselves without fear of judgment while receiving support, encouragement, and guidance throughout their journey.
During the first session, clients can expect a welcoming and supportive environment where we begin getting to know one another and discussing what brings them to therapy. The first session is focused on building comfort, understanding current concerns, exploring personal history, and identifying goals for treatment. Clients will have the opportunity to talk about challenges they may be experiencing, ask questions about the therapy process, and discuss what they hope to gain from counseling. I understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating or unfamiliar, so I aim to create a relaxed, nonjudgmental space where clients can move at a pace that feels comfortable for them. Together, we will begin identifying strengths, areas of concern, and potential approaches that may be helpful moving forward. The first session is also a chance for clients to determine whether the therapeutic relationship feels like a good fit for their needs and goals.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to create a genuine, relatable, and welcoming space where clients feel comfortable being themselves. I believe therapy does not have to feel cold or overly clinical to be effective. I aim to balance professionalism with authenticity, helping clients feel heard, understood, and supported while also building a strong therapeutic connection. I work especially well with young adults and adults who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, burned out, or unsure of who they are becoming. I strive to make therapy feel approachable and collaborative by meeting clients where they are and incorporating practical tools that fit their real lives and personalities. Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy creative hobbies and interests such as gaming, anime, trading card games, technology, fitness, and creative projects. These interests help me connect with clients from a variety of backgrounds and create conversations that feel natural and relatable, especially for younger adults who may have never felt fully understood in traditional settings. My goal is to provide a space where clients can feel safe enough to grow, challenge themselves, and work toward meaningful change while still feeling accepted for who they are. I believe that authenticity, empathy, humor, and connection can be powerful parts of the healing process.
My ideal clients are young adults and adults between the ages of 18–35 who are navigating life transitions, anxiety, stress, identity exploration, and work-life balance challenges. I enjoy working with individuals who may feel overwhelmed by expectations, uncertain about their future, struggling with self-confidence, or trying to better understand themselves and their relationships. I am passionate about creating a supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable being themselves while working toward meaningful change. I especially enjoy helping clients build coping skills, improve emotional awareness, strengthen communication, and develop healthier thought patterns that support personal growth and overall well-being. I welcome and work with individuals from all backgrounds and experiences. Whether someone is dealing with anxiety, burnout, relationship concerns, self-esteem difficulties, life adjustments, or simply feeling stuck, I aim to meet clients where they are and collaborate with them in a way that feels supportive, practical, and empowering. My goal is to help clients feel heard, understood, and capable of creating positive changes in their lives while building greater confidence and resilience along the way.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, we work on recognizing unhelpful thinking patterns, developing healthier coping strategies, and building practical skills to improve emotional well-being and daily functioning.
Adlerian
I use Adlerian Therapy to help clients better understand how past experiences, family dynamics, and personal beliefs influence current behaviors and relationships. This approach focuses on building insight, increasing self-awareness, and encouraging growth through connection, purpose, and personal strengths.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to help clients focus on their strengths, goals, and existing abilities to create meaningful change. Rather than staying focused only on problems, we work together to identify practical solutions and small, achievable steps toward improvement.
Gestalt
I use Gestalt Therapy to help clients become more aware of their thoughts, emotions, and experiences in the present moment. This approach encourages self-awareness, personal responsibility, and a deeper understanding of how emotions and patterns impact daily life and relationships.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
I use Person-Centered Therapy to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and accepted. I believe that through empathy, authenticity, and collaboration, clients can develop greater self-awareness, confidence, and personal growth.
