With seven years of counseling experience, I bring a warm, positive, and authentic approach to therapy. I believe meaningful growth happens when people feel safe, understood, and empowered to be themselves. My style is both playful and direct—I value honesty, genuine connection, and a little humor along the way. I strive to create a supportive space where clients can explore challenges, build on their strengths, and work toward lasting change. Whether you're navigating a difficult season or seeking personal growth, I am committed to walking alongside you with compassion, encouragement, and practical support.
I am Jeff, like it says on this page. I love games of all kinds and dogs of all kinds. I sit crosslegged on chairs when I can and enjoy kneading dough for baking. I'm verbose and use words as if they were legos.
I have worked in hospitals, community mental health centers, a retirement home and now I am content to be in private practice. I have experience with crises, sudden life transitions and choices that seem impossible to come back from.
I'm familiar with being awkward and have experience being the outcast. I became a therapist because there were many times earlier in my life where I needed support and guidance from someone who could understand me without being judgmental or controlling. Being a strange enough person already, I never quite found someone empathetic towards my situation until meeting my first therapist - a literally life changing experience.
Even with almost 10 years as a therapist, I'm certainly not claiming that I'll change your life as a guarantee just because of who I am - a therapist helped me see that so much change came about by my own efforts over the years, change that you can also be empowered to pursue. I am the sort of person that will work in your interest, work for your health when it feels like illness gets in the way. If you happen to be someone or know someone that often puts others before themselves at the expense of wants and needs for themselves, then you may know me pretty well already.
Transparently, I am not using AI in any form to write anything you read here about myself or my methods.
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Advanced Grief Counseling Specialist (CAGCS) with over five years of experience supporting people through cancer, serious illness, grief, and loss. As a two-time breast cancer survivor myself, I bring both professional training and personal understanding to this work, not because I have all the answers, but because I know that no two experiences are the same.
If you're facing a cancer diagnosis, navigating life after treatment, living with chronic illness or chronic pain, grieving a loss, or caring for someone seriously ill, you don't have to carry that alone. I work with family caregivers as well as the nurses and healthcare professionals who carry this work every day. My approach is warm, grounded, and deeply human, drawing on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). I meet you exactly where you are, without judgment.
Grief doesn't follow a timeline, and neither does healing. Whether your loss is recent or resurfacing years later, whether you're newly diagnosed, deep in treatment, in survivorship, or supporting someone you love through it all, you deserve a space that is entirely yours. A place to say the things you can't say anywhere else.
I see clients via telehealth across Pennsylvania.
I’m a trauma-informed therapist with over 20 years of experience supporting people through their healing journey. I bring deep empathy, compassion, and a holistic approach that honors your mind, body, and spirit.
As a marathoner, I understand the strength it takes to keep going — even when the path feels long. I believe in the power of listening to your intuition and gently rebuilding trust in yourself. A big dog lover, I also bring warmth, presence, and genuine care into every session.
This work is my true purpose, and I feel incredibly grateful to do it. I especially love working with motivated clients who are ready to invest in themselves — those who want to explore different ways of healing, take ownership of their growth, and show up with courage and insight.
If you’ve experienced trauma and are ready to do the meaningful work of healing, I would be truly honored to walk this path with you. You’ve already taken a brave step by being here, and I’m so glad you are.
Hi! I'm John.
Are you having a hard time managing your work stress? Anxiety? Are you feeling like your relationship/marriage is 'On the rocks?' Or, just feeling down? If so, I can help!
I have helped both individuals and couples work through challenges of all varieties stemming from many different and unique issues. I help clients work through their challenges by helping them to identify practical solutions, barriers, and strengths that lead them to being able to solve their particular issue(s). I love using Solution-Focused and Cognitive-Behavioral therapies to get individuals and couples past the obstacles standing in their way so they can lead productive and fulfilling lives.
You have made the right choice seeking out therapy. Most find therapy to be enjoyable and an opportunity for personal growth. It can feel good to just 'let it out' or 'get it off of your chest.' Sometimes just having someone to listen and understand can make a big difference! I look forward to working with you and to walking with you on your journey and to helping you through your difficult time.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) dedicated to providing a safe, supportive, and clinically grounded environment for individuals and families navigating life’s most difficult challenges. Since earning my Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2004, I have spent over 15 years helping people move from places of uncertainty and pain toward clarity, resilience, and confidence. I have experience working inpatient and outpatient settings.
Since I was 17, I’d always wanted to be a therapist. I learned that sometimes it takes more than just healing the mind in order to heal the whole person. That means that sometimes people need healing on emotional, psychological and spiritual levels. I then received two masters degrees, one in mental health counseling, and the other in the applied healing arts. Utilizing both these degrees has helped me to combine both traditional and alternative therapies into my work.
Hi, friends call me Kate. I have been Board Certified for 22 years and bring a variety of work experience to the table. Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Pennsylvania. I received my Masters from California University of PA in 2010 and have been practicing for 14 years. I help women struggling through infertility, loss, reproductive trauma, grief, and anxiety. I hold the strong belief that people are perfectly imperfect and believe that each individual is beautiful and spectacular but can also become stuck, unhappy and unable to live a fulfilling life. That’s where therapy with me comes in. My experience allows me to understand the best ways to address each client’s needs in an effective manner. I am flexible in my approach and use collaboration as the basis of therapy. I have worked with a diverse population of individuals and have experience in treating an array of diagnoses, including PTSD, Loss/Miscarriage and Postpartum Issues, Depression, OCD, Life Transitions, and Anxiety. I work with clients from a strength-based, positive, and affirming perspective to assist clients in learning the skills necessary to cope with depression, anxiety, relationship issues/family concerns, sexual trauma, unresolved emotional issues, grief and loss, self-esteem/self-empowerment issues, and more. I utilize a blend of Dialectal Behavioral Therapy and Client-Centered Therapy while also incorporating elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. These advanced methods promote healing and desired change in a unique, gentle, and respectful manner. I specialize in working to empower women who are struggling to heal from trauma and anxiety related issues. When not working, I enjoy snuggling with my dog and spending time with my family.
I bring a wide range of life experiences into my work and offer a relaxed, approachable presence in each session. We’ve all received messages throughout our lives—some that have supported us and others that have caused harm. Together, we can begin to sort through those experiences and let go of what no longer serves you. I take a holistic approach, recognizing that we are more than just our minds, and I intentionally integrate the body and spirituality into the work. My background is in progressive Christianity, while remaining open and respectful of all spiritual paths. I believe people grow most effectively in relationship—with support, insight, and accountability guiding the process.

I have 12 years of professional experience supporting clients through a wide range of challenges, including stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, issues with motivation and self-esteem, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders.
I believe in treating every person with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I take a personalized, client-centered approach and will tailor our conversations and treatment plan to meet your unique needs and goals.
It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and meaningful life, and taking the first steps can be challenging. I am here to support and empower you as you move forward on your journey toward healing and positive change.
Welcome. Taking the step to seek support is not always easy, and I’m glad you’re here.
As a licensed counselor, I specialize in helping individuals heal from trauma and navigate the challenges of depression, anxiety, and other mental health concerns. Additionally, I am well versed in helping others establish healthy relationships. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices tailored to your unique experiences and goals.
I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you better understand and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, creating space for more balanced and empowering perspectives. At the same time, I incorporate principles like radical acceptance to support you in making peace with what cannot be changed, while still moving forward in meaningful ways.
Because trauma is not only something we think about—but something we carry—I also integrate body-based (psychosomatic) approaches. These techniques help you reconnect with your body, process stored stress or trauma, and build a greater sense of safety and regulation from within.
My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can explore your experiences, build resilience, and develop practical tools for lasting change. You don’t have to do this alone—healing is possible, and I’m here to walk alongside you.
Hello! My name is Ashley Harlan and I am a licensed professional counselor and certified advanced alcohol and drug counselor who specializes in working with adolescents and young adults who have experienced trauma, substance use, life stressors and transitions, depression, and anxiety. I received a Master of Science of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Duquesne University in 2017. Since then, I have worked in both residential and outpatient settings, conducting individual, group, and family therapy sessions. I have previously served as the Clinical Supervisor for an inpatient rehab for adolescents. Additionally, I am adjunct faculty for two online colleges, teaching psychology-related topics.
Hello. I look forward to working with you. My own background is one of growing up on farms, having little money and ambitious dreams. I did not know what it was but I knew I wanted to go to college and get out of the tobacco fields. My dreams came true. I ended up being a psychologist and a teacher, spending decades working in residential treatment then in schools, the last 13 years working with preschoolers and their families to prepare them to succeed in school. As a teacher, I taught many college and university courses as well as workshops, most recently to address grief and trauma. I am also an artist, a dancer and a writer and like to bring co-creativity to others.
In the early 1990's, I felt led to live and work at or near the world center of Quakers called Pendle Hill in PA. There I studied and taught Arts and Spirituality while also serving as a Psychologist in nearby schools. I came to see the importance of Co-Creativity (creating together a piece of life we truly want to live for). My specialties in the Arts have been writing, visual arts and dancing/movement from a "no wrong way" perspective. I incorporate these into the therapy process as they become beneficial.
For much of my life, I have also been engaged with my own therapeutic process. Having been the client for several years, gives me the perspective of what might be important to you as we work together, never assuming I know or forgetting to ask you.
In our sessions, I want to hear about you, find our starting points and from there develop action plans each session to work on the goals needed to find the life you dream of and are willing to work toward.
I am a licensed independent marriage and family therapist, with several years of experience in a variety of settings. I am committed to creating an open and safe space that encourages clients to explore all parts of themselves.
I’m Michelle, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes therapy works best when clients feel truly seen, understood, and comfortable being themselves. My approach is engaged, proactive, and relational. Together, we’ll do meaningful work to process emotions, build insight, and create lasting change, while also making room for humor, connection, and the moments of lightness that can support healing along the way.
I have 13 years of experience in social work, including child welfare and trauma-focused work, which has shaped me into a grounded, direct therapist focused on helping clients feel supported while creating real change.
I specialize in working with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, and depression, especially when past experiences feel unresolved or continue to show up in the present.
Taking the time to start therapy and acknowledge our own personal struggles is the first, and often times, most difficult step in the healing process. I believe that therapy can offer the space for one to process relationships, career changes, grief, and life transitions in depth with safety and clarity. As a therapist, I aim to offer insight in helping clients identify their own values and assist them in aligning said values with their life choices to connect one's sense of self. I also help clients explore how their experiences may have impacted them and offering ways one can use that understanding for self healing and growth.
My name is Dominic Valeri and I'm a licensed therapist and have been working in the field for two decades. I am a compassionate person who is willing to listen to anyone who is having issues in their lives. I believe there are no problems that cannot be worked though as long as you are willing to take part in the healing process.
Hello and welcome! My name is Kate, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, alcohol use disorder, and life transitions. I strive to create a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you can explore challenges, build insight, and develop meaningful coping strategies. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready for change, I’m here to support you on your journey.

I think that it is very important to learn to judge yourself and the world less harshly. I believe that our unrealistic thoughts and expectations are major contributors to our discontent. I have found that some of the concepts of Eastern and Stoic philosophy can help put our lives into better perspective.
I particularly like the aspects of psychology that are based on science. As a field, we know a lot about how people learn and how early experience shapes our current moods and behavior. I also like to incorporate current ideas in neurology and physiology that support behavior change.

Life rarely comes with a roadmap, and lately, just getting through your daily checklist might feel like an uphill battle. Maybe you are constantly doubting yourself, feeling hijacked by anxiety, or realizing that the way you’ve been coping with stress or anger just isn't working anymore.
If you are a teenager, college student, adult, or an exhausted parent trying to handle a massive life transition by trial and error, I want you to know two things: your feelings make complete sense, and you do not have to figure this out by yourself.

Hi, My name is Dr. Sister Marian Mikhail Doctorate of Min., L.C.P.C. Advanced, PhD Clinical Pastoral Counseling, M.Div., LMHC, LPC, M.A. Rel. Ed. I am a licensed therapist in New York and New Jersey with 5 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with grief and loss, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence, & career difficulties. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion.
I have had the privilege of walking alongside couples and families through some of their most difficult seasons, helping marriages rebuild trust, communication, and emotional connection after deep hurt and trauma. Over the years, I have supported children recovering from the effects of trauma and sexual abuse, guiding them toward safety, stability, and renewed confidence. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to providing compassionate, trauma‑informed care that honors each client’s story. My background in Christian counseling further allows me to support clients who desire faith‑based guidance as they work toward restoration and healing.
