Hello, I'm Tatiana, a licensed professional counselor and a certified Gestalt therapist. I have a Master of Science degree in Psychology, a Post-Master certification in Clinical Psychology, and a certification in Gestalt therapy from the Gestalt Training Institute of Philadelphia. Embarking on the journey of therapy is a courageous step, and I commend you for taking it. Recognizing the complexities that come with seeking help, I aim to provide a nurturing and empowering space for your healing and growth. I am committed to creating a space that respects and supports diverse identities and relationship experiences. My practice centers around creating an inclusive environment that acknowledges and respects LGBTQ+, as well as non-monogamous and other relationship styles. Whether you’re navigating monogamous relationships, ethical non-monogamy (ENM) in all its forms—including polyamory—or questioning your relationship dynamic, my approach is grounded in empathy, respect, and acceptance. Your unique identities, relationship dynamics, and lived experiences matter, and I am here to support you with openness and understanding.
My approach is an eclectic blend, primarily drawing from Gestalt therapy and incorporating elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). While Gestalt therapy focuses on the present moment, CBT techniques help identify and challenge negative thought patterns. Through experiential techniques and interactive dialogue, we'll explore your current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. This collaborative process aims to deepen self-awareness and empower you to make meaningful, sustainable changes that align with your values, fostering personal growth and fulfillment.
I firmly believe in human potential for growth and healing. My approach emphasizes collaboration and empowerment, allowing us to work together to find solutions that foster positive changes. With a unique combination of therapeutic approaches I bring experience gained in various settings, ensuring you receive holistic and personalized support. You don't have to navigate your struggles alone— reach out today and let's start the journey towards a more fulfilling life.
Gestalt therapy is my specialty—I completed a three-year post-graduate program with the Gestalt Training Institute of Philadelphia after earning my Master of Science in Clinical Psychology. In my approach, I help clients connect with their whole selves—thoughts, emotions, and body sensations—in the present moment. We explore how experiences show up in the body, like tension or energy, to uncover deeper insights. I focus on building awareness and experimenting with new ways of being, helping clients feel more alive and present in their lives.
Part of the eclectic approach I use is mindfulness based therapy, it is one of the keys to accepting present moment experience and thus helps vividly experiencing life.
Exploring your attachment style can help improve relationships by understanding how you connect with others.
CBT helps to identify, assess and change thoughts and behaviors that no longer beneficial for us.
