Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Pennsylvania. I received my Masters from California University of PA in 2010 and have been practicing for 14 years. I help women struggling through infertility, loss, reproductive trauma, grief, and anxiety. I hold the strong belief that people are perfectly imperfect and believe that each individual is beautiful and spectacular but can also become stuck, unhappy and unable to live a fulfilling life. That’s where therapy with me comes in. My experience allows me to understand the best ways to address each client’s needs in an effective manner. I am flexible in my approach and use collaboration as the basis of therapy. I have worked with a diverse population of individuals and have experience in treating an array of diagnoses, including PTSD, Loss/Miscarriage and Postpartum Issues, Depression, OCD, Life Transitions, and Anxiety. I work with clients from a strength-based, positive, and affirming perspective to assist clients in learning the skills necessary to cope with depression, anxiety, relationship issues/family concerns, sexual trauma, unresolved emotional issues, grief and loss, self-esteem/self-empowerment issues, and more. I utilize a blend of Dialectal Behavioral Therapy and Client-Centered Therapy while also incorporating elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. These advanced methods promote healing and desired change in a unique, gentle, and respectful manner.  I specialize in working to empower women who are struggling to heal from trauma and anxiety related issues. When not working, I enjoy snuggling with my dog and spending time with my family.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked as a Therapist for the past 14 years, I've developed a tried-and-true playbook for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT with clients to assist them in challenging negative thought patterns that are keeping them stuck. My goal is to use CBT strategies to help my clients recognize negative thoughts that are inhibiting them from living the life they deserve.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT skills including mindfulness and grounding are key to helping us to be in the now and not in the past or future. DBT skills can be used to help reduce symptoms of anxiety by pushing us to focus on the present.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Each session is about the client. These sessions are to help you, the client, and to focus on your concerns, needs, and perspective. Being Person-Centered in sessions allows for the client to lead their own session and gives me the opportunity to fully support client point of view and identify needs through listening and providing empathic support.
