I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) who obtained my master's degree in social work (MSW) from the University of Connecticut in 2013. I started my career in child welfare and animal assisted therapy, and now work with adults ranging from college age to geriatric. The main focus of my practice is in ADHD, as an ADHDer myself, I have a great deal of lived experience as well as training and knowledge on the most recent research. We are learning more and more that ADHD Is not a disorder, but rather another type of brain, and while functioning can be affected (and often is), there is so much potential to be found, and with the right information and guidance, your ADHD brain can thrive! I can be a space for you to process what it means to be ADHD, how it has affected your life, (for good and for bad), and how you can move forward coming from a place of strength and and knowledge.
I tend to thrive in crisis. Ideal with the toughest cases of trauma, shootings, cults abductions, and domestic violence. I have been able to help so many veterans as well over the past 12+ years in my positions with US Service Animals, Simple, Practice, Grow Therapy and other telehealth platforms. I was an early adopter of telehealth and I have seen it. Make such a difference for so many people because of the comfort that is brought by being able to open up in an environment you know is safe, your own home/space. I take a solutions focused and a client centered approach. I am also insight oriented. I have a lot of insight when it comes to dealing with physical pain and disabilities as I have a visual disability since very young and suffered a TBI at age 24. I like to focus on what issues you are having and come up with coping mechanisms that will work for you. Dealing with the struggles I have had throughout my life has helped me work with people and develop creative and effective coping mechanisms for their specific issues. I have now lived and worked in several states with varying cultures and have benefited from all of these experiences. I have spent a lot of time in a hospital and work well with nurses and medical professionals as well. Please reach out if you think I can help and I will meet you where you are and see where we can go from here.
I am an autistic therapist, which is important to mention as my communication style may differ from what you are accustomed to. I am very direct and honest, and my guidance is grounded in research and the lived experiences of other clients. My therapeutic approach is centered on helping you define your current purpose. I employ a client-centered approach, cognitive behavioral techniques, and existentialism to ensure you feel heard, seen, and valued. Together, we will embark on a journey of self-discovery and personal growth. I am pleased that you are here, and I look forward to working with you.
I began my education in research psychology before entering counseling. Now, I am a Community Counselor. I have spent my time as a therapist side by side with people in their homes, in their schools, at their workplace, and out in the community. I have worked with people on the Autism Spectrum, with ADHD, depression, mood disorders, and end of life issues.
My approach to helping has always been to help you define your current purpose. I utilize a client-centered approach, cognitive behavioralism, and existentialism. I want you to feel heard, seen, and feel that you are important. We will work together to help you on a journey to discover yourself.
I am glad you are here and I look forward to working with you.

Hi! My name is Billy.
Are you struggling with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, stress, anger...or possibly all five? These issues are not uncommon and can be debilitating, especially when guilt or shame are added to the mix. But you can kick them all to the curb. All it takes is a willingness to change your perspectives.
I've worked with thousands of clients (adults and children) who struggle with self-defeating beliefs that zap the joy out of life. And I've found that Hope and Purpose, along with healthy doses of Motivation and Creativity, crush inner demons. How do you find Hope and Purpose? It's not as complicated as you might think. We are made to help each other. We are made to communicate. We are made to have a positive impact. Sometimes, though, life attacks from all directions and leaves us feeling defeated. That's when we need help.
I firmly believe in Jesus Christ, the Biblical Savior not the mascot some politicians have reduced Him to. But I'm no preacher and will not judge you if your beliefs differ from mine. The Jesus I believe in loves all people, not just a select few.
I'm also a huge Ohio State Buckeyes fan. I'll accept Michigan fans but cannot promise the same nonjudgmental stance I noted above. :)
I'm here to listen. I'm here to learn about your struggles and find ways to help you view them differently. And, who knows? I may even share some of my Blackstone Griddle secrets along the way. God Bless!
I provide trauma-informed care to women and men. I want to help clarify whatever it is you want to heal. What is it that you aren't getting from your environment that leads you to overwork, over think, isolate or continue habits you already know don't serve you? To communicate better in your relationships I will use what I’ve learned to help guide you in how to disagree without hurting, highlight what is already working, and uncover the struggles you face to get to the core reasons why we get stuck. I help individuals with ADHD, OCD, and other anxiety disorders. The label doesn't matter as much as you do.

I provide individual therapy, and I enjoy working with adults who feel ready to better understand themselves, shift old patterns, and move toward greater balance.
If this resonates with you, I invite you to reach out—I would be honored to support you on your journey.

As a social worker therapist grounded in mindfulness theory, my dream client embodies a spirit of openness and motivation for change. This individual recognizes the challenges that come with personal growth but approaches therapy with a willingness to explore and confront these difficulties. They appreciate the journey of self-discovery and are eager to gain insights that can lead to meaningful transformation in their life.
In our sessions, I envision a collaborative environment where they feel safe to express their thoughts and emotions. They understand that progress may not always be linear, yet they remain committed to the process. This client values the therapeutic relationship and seeks guidance to cultivate greater self-awareness, resilience, and mindfulness in their daily life.
What I cherish most about this ideal client is their ability to reflect on their experiences and actively engage in their healing journey. They inspire me with their courage to face discomfort and their desire to learn and grow. Together, we would explore various mindfulness practices and therapeutic techniques, fostering a deep connection that empowers them to embrace change with compassion and patience.
Ultimately, my dream client is someone who is not only motivated to seek help but also appreciates the support and insight I can offer. In this partnership, we would work hand in hand to navigate the complexities of their experiences, celebrating each step toward a more fulfilled and mindful existence. This collaborative spirit of growth and understanding is what makes the therapeutic journey profoundly rewarding for both of us.
Hi, I’m Ayesha—a licensed professional counselor based in Dallas, Texas. I offer virtual therapy across the state, supporting adult individuals through life’s challenges. If you're feeling overwhelmed by low moods, intrusive thoughts, or body image distress, you’re not alone. These experiences can often lead to anxiety, depression, stress, and emotional fatigue.
Many people suffer in silence, avoiding the deeper work around thought patterns—yet unaddressed, these patterns can fuel emotions like guilt, shame, and unworthiness, reinforcing a cycle that feels hard to break. Therapy is a space to gain clarity, challenge those beliefs, and begin your healing journey.
During my final year of my ungraduate education, I participated in an intership with the Western District of Pennsylvania United States Probation & Pretrial Services. It was in this position that I met a social worker for the first time and learned about their roles in our communties. After graduation, I began working with intellectually and developmentally disabled adults. I graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania a second time with a Masters of Social Work in 2019. I became a licensed social worker after graduation in 2019 and began my career working as a mental health therapist. After two years, I was able to become a licensed independent social worker in 2023. I began working in conjunction with Grow Therapy in 2024 and have been working with them ever since.
I have been licensed as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor since 2004, and have held a supervision designation since 2015. I have also held a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor with a supervision/training designation license since 2018. I have maintained a private counseling practice in Chillicothe since 2000, and I continue to work with individuals and families in that capacity. I have dedicated my career to helping others and to working with the community to ensure the well-being of families and children.
My most common theoretical approaches are Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Christian Therapy, but I am proud to be able to use a multitude of approaches, dependent on what works best for the client(s) involved.
I value the individual and the couple regardless of age or philosophical approach to their life or relationship. I see my goal of treatment as improving the individual or couple to be the best they want to be.
My communication tone or approach tends to be direct but laid back. We are in session to work together, not have me tell you what to do or where you need to go.

I am a psychotherapist with over 15 years of clinical experience. My work experience includes outpatient mental health, individual and couples therapy, support groups and substance abuse treatment. I am passionate about working with people who struggle with depression and anxiety. These are very treatable conditions and I offer a personalized approach that gets results.
I have been a professional social work counselor for around 15 years, working primarily with adults that struggle with severe persistent mental illness. I have been able to utilize and hone my skills of active listening, empathy and guidance over the years to help clients gain resiliency throughout the struggles they may face with SPMI. Over the course of my career thus far, I have worked with clients from varying backgrounds and age ranges of 18 up to senior adults, helping them discover new coping skills and listening to their journey.
I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Youngstown State University and began my career working in foster care as a case manager, where I developed a strong foundation in advocacy, family systems, and trauma-informed care. I later expanded my clinical work as a mental health therapist in a school setting and within a collaborative program serving children involved in foster care, supporting clients through complex emotional and environmental challenges.
I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and the Positive Parenting Program (Triple P). My clinical experience includes counseling children, adolescents, adults, and couples experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, low self-esteem, anger management concerns, and relationship challenges.
In my practice, I utilize trauma-informed CBT, solution-focused therapy, strengths-based approaches, and motivational interviewing to support meaningful and lasting change. I believe healing occurs in a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment, where clients feel empowered, respected, and actively involved in their mental health journey.
