About me

My name is Sara Davis and I am a neurodivergent, queer, clinical counselor (LPCC) licensed in Ohio and Oregon with over 15 years of professional work experience ranging from community, court, and private practice work with adults, teens, and families. I am currently only offering therapy via telehealth and have a curious little corgi you may meet along the way.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session will be a combination of you telling me what you are wanting help with or to work on, and me asking any clarifying questions to get an understanding of the full picture. I like to have a conversational approach; like you are talking to a friend.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming situations that challenge you. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process. Feel free to reach out to me with any questions you may have and I look forward to joining in this journey with you!

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, adhd, lgbtqia2s+ related issues, narcissistic abuse, coping with grief and loss, life transitions, & depression. My focus is with individual sessions for adults and teens. I bring an eclectic approach to my sessions with the roots being in humanistic theory with client-centered therapy. I will tailor my style to meet your presenting needs. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where individuals can be their authentic self while feeling heard and seen.
