Reaching out for support takes courage, and I’m glad you’re here. As a Licensed Independent Social Worker with a Supervision designation (LISW-S), I specialize in evidence-based treatment for anxiety, depression, and stress management.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed by chronic worry, carrying a heaviness you can’t quite shake, or struggling with burnout, you don’t have to figure it out alone. In addition to my clinical work, I mentor and supervise other clinicians, which keeps me at the forefront of the most effective therapeutic tools and mental health practices.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I believe you are the expert on your own life; my job is to offer clinical perspective and practical strategies that work in the real world. I focus on creating a comfortable, safe space where we can work together from the very first session to turn 'feeling stuck' into a clear path forward.
Hello, I'm Sandra Workman, MS, LPC, NCC, CMHC. Hi! I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with a Doctorate in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Western States. I work with clients to approach difficult thoughts and emotions with compassion while identifying and reshaping the beliefs that hold them back. My style combines empathy with practical strategies to foster resilience, clarity, and meaningful action toward what matters most. After all, wherever you go, you take yourself with you.
I’m a therapist who believes people deserve a place where they can breathe, slow down, and feel understood. For more than 25 years, I’ve helped adults navigate anxiety, trauma, stress, and life transitions with a steady, compassionate approach. My style is calm, warm, and down‑to‑earth—I meet you exactly where you are, without judgment or pressure. I deeply value every person I interact with. Everyone is welcome here.
Hi. I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker in Ohio. I have worked extensively with adolescents and young adults who have had issues with trauma and loss in childhood. I also have much experience in working with depression, anxiety and loss. I have a special interest in working with anyone touched by adoption as I am an adoptee myself. It is very gratifying to see people of all ages overcome obstacles and to become the best version of themselves. I feel that one of my strengths is being able to put people at ease and being able to support them through the therapeutic process. Please understand that I do not do medication management.
Hello! I have been continuously licensed as a Clinical Psychologist since 1999. I grew up poor in inner city Cleveland. I was the 1st in my family to complete a college degree of any kind. I was a truck driver before I became a psychologist. I have a neuromuscular disability which effects my lower arms and hands and lower legs and feet. I use a wheelchair for long distances but I can walk a little. I graduated with a BA in psychology from Cleveland State University in 1992. I graduated with my doctorate in clinical psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in Chicago in 1998.
If you’re a veteran, a man struggling in a difficult relationship, or an adult who is tired of feeling stuck, you’re not looking for someone to simply listen and nod. You want things to change.
I work especially well with people dealing with anxiety, anger, trauma, depression, relationship problems, low confidence, overthinking, addiction, or major life stress. My approach is practical and straightforward: we look at the thoughts, beliefs, habits, and circumstances keeping you stuck and start challenging them.
I also work with men who feel overwhelmed, unheard, criticized, or uncertain of themselves in important relationships. Maybe you feel like you’re walking on eggshells, questioning yourself, feeling guilty for setting boundaries, or wondering whether you’re the problem. Counseling can help you rebuild confidence, establish healthier boundaries, and make decisions based on your own values rather than fear, guilt, or pressure.
I’ve worked with thousands of clients and learned that people often have more strength than they realize. Sometimes you’ve believed lies about yourself for so long that they became part of who you see yourself to be.
I’m Christian-friendly, but I meet everyone where they are.
I listen closely, ask questions that make you think, challenge perspectives that may be keeping you stuck, and help you find solutions that work in real life. I don’t believe my job is to tell you how to live your life. I want our conversations to help you see your situation more clearly and decide what makes sense for you.
I’m also a huge Ohio State Buckeyes fan. I’ll gladly work with Michigan fans, too…but I can't promise neutrality! :)

Bring your sense of humor into sessions. Therapy doesn’t have to feel stiff. We can be real humans in the room together.
I am a licensed professional counselor with a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with experience working on a multitude of concerns including trauma, anxiety, depression, parenting, and couples counseling. I believe in creating a strong, trusting therapeutic environment where people feel comfortable, motivated, and not judged. I use solution-focused techniques to assist in reaching goals and CBT techniques to help with concerns such as negative thought patterns. Every person is different, and you will have your own individualized therapy and plan that is tailored to your needs. I really enjoy helping others explore their own strengths, and I understand that sometimes it can be hard to put things into perspective. Sometimes that outside, non-judgmental assistance is what someone needs to get back on track or on a better track.

Hello, I’m Laura. I’m committed to helping you create a healthier, more fulfilling life. I believe therapy should be a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself. Clients often describe me as calm and serene, and I strive to bring that sense of peace and safety into our work together.
I take a collaborative, personalized approach to therapy, using cognitive and motivational strategies tailored to your unique needs and goals. Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, depression, addiction, grief, relationship concerns, stress, or a major life transition, I’ll meet you where you are and work alongside you to develop practical tools for meaningful change.
I have a particular passion for working with older adults, while also welcoming clients from all walks of life. I have experience supporting individuals with a wide range of concerns, including dementia, grief and bereavement, medical and physical health issues, family and intimate relationships, ADHD, bipolar disorder, LGBTQIA+ concerns, OCD, PTSD, trauma, perinatal concerns, sleep disorders, and traumatic brain injury.
I hold a Master of Arts degree and am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Certified Addiction Specialist. Most importantly, I believe therapy is a partnership. My role is to listen without judgment, offer support and guidance, and help you recognize your strengths as you move toward the life you want.
If you’re ready to take the next step, I invite you to schedule an appointment or reach out through the client portal. I look forward to meeting you and being part of your journey.
As a therapist, my approach is open, non-judgmental, and collaborative. My goal is to create an empowering environment because ultimately, you are the expert in your own life. I specialize in trauma, mood disorders (depression and anxiety), and perinatal mental health. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). This form of therapy has been shown to be effective for individuals who have survived traumatic experiences and/or who have experienced complex developmental trauma throughout their lives. With experience working with diverse diagnoses and populations, I visualize therapy as a journey where I walk alongside to help you achieve your therapeutic goals.
I’m not the kind of therapist who just nods and asks how that makes you feel. That’s not what most men need, especially when it feels like it’s falling apart.
I work with men who are overwhelmed, burned out, or angry and don’t know why. Men who feel stuck in their heads, disconnected from the people they love, or like they’re always one step away from snapping. Some are facing divorce. Others are trying to be better dads, partners, or sons, but they often feel like they’re failing. Many were pushed into therapy by someone who cares about them. Almost all of them stay once they realize it helps.
My approach is practical, honest, and built for the real world. I use tools from CBT, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy, plus a good dose of common sense to help you understand what’s going on and actually do something about it. No psychobabble. No lectures. Just straight talk and strategies that work.
If you're tired of feeling angry, lost, or numb, it's going to be okay. You're not broken, and you're not alone. This isn’t about becoming someone else. It’s about finding your footing and getting back to who you were before life got so heavy.

Hey there! :)
I'm a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervisory distinction (LISW-S) based in central Ohio. I earned my MSW from The Ohio State University and have spent the past decade doing what I love most—helping people heal, grow, and thrive.
My journey began as a trauma specialist working with children in Treatment Foster Care and adoption in inner-city Columbus. At the same time, I supported children, young adults, and families in Worthington, Ohio, helping them find balance and connection in their daily lives. It was during this time that I discovered my passion for supporting parents—especially those navigating the emotional waves of infertility, anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, and the beautifully complex world of parenting.
These experiences sparked a deep commitment to working with women to identify their strengths, overcome barriers, and step fully into their potential. I find so much joy in connecting with people from all walks of life, and I've had the privilege of working in urban, suburban, and rural communities. My current practice—and my roots—are in the beautiful Appalachian foothills of Ohio.
Outside of the therapy room, I’m a proud animal lover, plant enthusiast, and people-person through and through. I believe in the power of humor, honesty, and human connection—and I’m here to walk alongside you, wherever you are in your journey.
