I’m also a certified clinical telemental health provider and a certified integrative mental health professional. My approach is rooted in presence, depth, and respect for each person’s unique path.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over twenty years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families navigating trauma, addiction, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and complex relational and attachment wounds. My work is grounded in a nervous system awareness and a deeply relational approach that prioritizes safety, emotional truth, and meaningful change over symptom management alone.
Over the course of my career, including years in large healthcare systems and leadership roles, I witnessed how often well-intentioned treatment models fall short by focusing on compliance, pathology, or short-term stabilization rather than root causes. That experience fundamentally shaped how I practice today. I specialize in working with people who feel stuck, unseen, or disconnected from themselves and others, particularly those with long standing patterns rooted in developmental trauma, attachment injury, or chronic stress.
My clinical style is structured yet human, direct yet compassionate. I integrate evidence-based approaches, including IFS, ACT, CBT, DBT, and somatic practices, with a strong emphasis on insight, integration, and real-world application. I also offer expanded states of consciousness psychotherapy where appropriate, always within an ethical, intentional, and integration-focused framework.
I believe effective therapy is not about changing who someone is. It is about helping them understand shaped them and their nervous system responses, reclaim agency, repair relationships with themselves and others, and live with greater clarity and integrity. My role is to provide a steady, grounded space where difficult truths can be explored safely and where meaningful, lasting change becomes possible.

If you're a Millennial or Gen Z adult feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, constant stress, or persistent overthinking, you're not alone. Anxiety can make it difficult to stay present, maintain routines, manage responsibilities, or enjoy everyday life. For many people, OCD adds another layer of distress through intrusive thoughts, excessive doubt, rumination, or compulsive behaviors that can leave you feeling stuck.
I specialize in treating anxiety disorders and OCD using Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). ERP helps you gradually face feared thoughts and situations while learning to resist compulsions. CBT provides practical, evidence-based strategies to reduce anxiety, challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, and build lasting confidence.
Healing starts with one small, courageous step—and that step might simply be sending an email or making a phone call. You don't have to keep managing this alone. I'm here to help you build the skills to move forward and create a life that's guided by your values, not by anxiety or OCD.

My professional background in mental health began during my undergraduate and graduate studies, where I gained experience working with children through the Department of Children & Families, with older adults in skilled nursing facilities, and with adolescents in group homes. Over the years, I have expanded my work to include diverse populations and settings. Life can feel like a roller coaster—full of unexpected changes, emotions, and pressures—but with the right support, it’s possible to find balance, peace, and overall well-being.
My life experiences are what led me to become a therapist and shaped my deep commitment to supporting others on their healing paths. Over the years, I’ve worked in a wide range of settings — schools, jails, hospitals, and private practice — which has given me a broad understanding of how people cope, survive, and grow in very different environments.
I have specialized training in TF‑CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, autism, and women’s mental health, including perinatal, postpartum, and perimenopausal/menopausal concerns. These areas of focus allow me to support women across the full spectrum of emotional, hormonal, and life transitions. I look forward to walking alongside you as we navigate this journey together. Maybe your mind feels like it never shuts off—overthinking, worrying, or constantly feeling on edge. Or maybe it’s the opposite... feeling low, unmotivated, or disconnected from yourself in a way that’s hard to explain. Some days feel heavy, and even simple things take more effort than they used to.
You may also be carrying grief—whether from a loss, a life change, or something that didn’t turn out the way you hoped. At the same time, work stress or burnout might be adding another layer, leaving you feeling emotionally drained and stretched thin.
I primarily work with women who are navigating anxiety, depression, grief, and the impact of past experiences. Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside, but internally feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or stuck in patterns they can’t seem to break.
I am a dedicated Psychoherapist with a profound commitment to holistic and culturally competent therapy as LMFT. My practice encompasses virtual counseling, interactive workshops, and tailored programs designed to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and enhance emotional well-being. Drawing on my background in art, I incorporate creative methods into the therapeutic process, which significantly aids in emotional healing and personal growth.
My approach is grounded in a deep understanding and respect for the diverse cultural backgrounds of my clients. This cultural sensitivity allows me to build authentic, meaningful connections and provide care that is responsive to each client’s unique context. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where clients feel genuinely seen, valued, and understood.
Through extensive clinical experience, I have developed a flexible and adaptive therapeutic style that allows me to effectively address a wide range of concerns. I prioritize confidentiality, empathy, and sensitivity, fostering a strong therapeutic alliance where clients feel comfortable exploring even their most personal challenges.
My goal is to empower clients to reach their fullest potential by strengthening self-awareness, resilience, and relational skills. Whether through virtual or in-person sessions, I am committed to supporting clients on their journey toward healthier, more balanced, and fulfilling lives.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who helps you to navigate anxiety, ADHD, stress, and relationship patterns that feel hard to break. With 23 years of experience supporting the LGBTQ+ community, I create a safe, compassionate space where you can be yourself. Together, we’ll tailor our sessions to meet your unique needs, ensuring you feel heard and understood every step of the way. I'm most interested in you reaching your fullest potential using a personally tailored approach based on your individual needs and therapeutic goals.
If you’re here, you may be carrying experiences that still show up in your body, your thoughts, or your relationships — even if those events happened long ago. You might feel on edge, numb, easily triggered, exhausted, or disconnected from yourself or others. If that sounds familiar, you’re not broken. Your nervous system learned how to survive, and now it may need support learning how to feel safe again.
My name is Amy, and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in South Carolina, also licensed in New Jersey and Connecticut. I’ve been practicing for 13 years and earned my Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. While I’ve worked with a wide range of concerns — including anxiety, depression, ADHD, anger, grief, and relationship challenges — I specialize in trauma working with PTSD and Complex PTSD.
I work with clients who have experienced trauma in many forms, including childhood abuse or neglect, chronic stress, relational trauma, and significant life disruptions. My approach is trauma-informed, which means I move at your pace, prioritize your sense of safety, and respect your boundaries. You are always in control of what you share and when. Therapy is not about forcing yourself to “relive” anything — it’s about helping your nervous system feel safer and helping you reclaim your sense of choice and agency.
